Well Built, But Listed Clearance is Wrong.

This is a well built rack. It's all powder-coated steel with quality fasteners included. No complaints there. However, the thing hangs lower from the ceiling than listed on the website. They claim 19 inches but that's WITHOUT the arms that hold the boards. With an arm in the lower position, the arm actually hangs lower than the support by about 3 1/2 inches. This was the difference between clearing the garage door and not, so I had to use it in the side by side configuration (which takes up twice as much space in the garage. In the end, I should have made my own rack. It would better suit my situation.

Good build and super handy

This ceiling rack is awesome. I put two of them in the garage. On one we hold a kayak and a SUP, and on the other we hold our car top carrier and a couple ladders. Really well built, too. These days you always get stuff with screws that strip or break when you torque them down. These are all industrial quality. It’s so nice to get something this nice for a change in this ever-cheaping world.
