NRS  H2Core Silkweight Hoodie - Women's

I have this hoodie, a long sleeve, and a short sleeve all in this material and I could just like in them all year! I've found this hoodie to be great for travel because it's so comfortable and can go from sweating on a hike to adding it under a layer when the weather cools at night. It's just one of those pieces of clothing that you will put on and never take off!

I normally don't write reviews but I have to for this shirt. It is the best sun protection I have ever had in a shirt - no sunblock, no sunburn and no worries. And it is completely breathable - amazing! We were hiking in Death Valley, it went up to 88 degrees and I felt the cool breezes in the canyon blowing on my skin through the shirt! And with thumb holes I didn't have to smear sunblock on my hands. I washed it out in the evenings so I could wear it every day - it was always dry. Amazing garment. Just wish there were other colors. Every picture hiking has me in this shirt!!

Love this! It arrived just before a long hike weekend so perfect timing. It is a very soft fabric that feels good on the skin, and did not make me feel hot at all. I love it. Ordering two more before they run out or discontinue!

Love the fit of this layer - it is just loose enough to put something under it and light enough to wear a layer over it. I am often a medium, but my big shoulders and ample bust made me think that a large would fit better - and I get more use from it than a tight fitting medium. Like the longer length. The material is soft and cool but does give some warmth. I found it too warm on a sunny day in spring, but liked that it kept the sun off my winter pale arms. I wore the hoodie under a helmet one day and it was very comfortable - giving me just a bit of warmth needed in the cool morning. The sleeves are long, so for active hand use, I roll them up, but if you are doing something that does not require you to use your hands, the extra length and thumb hole are useful. Love the blue color of this shirt and the contrast piping adds a bit of zing.

Love this top. I bought it for kayaking, paddleboarding, and having a general lightweight sun shirt. I don't like tight rash guards and wanted something that fit a little looser - this is great! I've worn it multiple times, and it doesn't feel hot on warm sunny days on the water. I will probably end up wearing it often, not just for water stuff. (For size reference, I'm 5'1" 125lbs with a little extra around the middle - the small was perfect.)

I've had this shirt a month. Love it. Perfect for paddling. No seam issues! I recommend checking the sizing chart--it put me between small and medium. The small is rather form-fitting but I like it that way. For reference I'm 5'8" 125 lbs and flat chested. It covers my long torso too. Really, no complaints.

I've worn this hoodie for so many things! I've worn it kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and out on the town. I get sunburned super easily, and rarely have short sleeves on because of that, and this hoodie keeps the sun off me without making me absurdly hot. I'm 5'6" and 135 lbs, and I have both a medium and a large. I find that the medium is a little bit tight on my shoulders for kayaking, so I like the large when I'm on the water.

This is a great quality shirt for kayaking - it is both lightweight and warm, but not too warm. I wore river kayaking on a cloudy 60's day last week and it was perfect. I like the fit and the hood but the arms and the body are both SUPER long on me (5'3") so may be best for a taller person. I just scrunched everything up, but it meant the fit (thumbholes, etc.) wasn't 100% ideal for me. Overall, though, great shirt.

Love this functional and stylish shirt. It's lightweight, silky smooth, breathable, and comfortable. The high neck and the UPF 50+ provides great coverage from the sun and the hoodie provides extra protection for the back of the neck. The deep turquoise color is very flattering and the light pop of blue trim also adds a nice touch. Just a few tiny cons. The fit is a bit loose which allows for general comfort except when you first get wet because the extra cloth can hang on your skin (it does dry fast though so that's good). The arms are also a tad too long so there's a lot of extra cloth gathered at the wrist when I'm not using the thumb holes. But these are pretty minor inconveniences. Overall, a great shirt that can be used for all outdoor activities. Awesome for paddling and other water sports, but will definitely be using on hikes and other land activities.

I am so impressed by this hoodie. I usually prefer a v-neck shirt because I hate the feeling of something being tight in on my neck. However, I am trying to be more cognizant of sun protection and decided to try out the closer cut neck and hood for extra protection. The fit was perfect, felt very true to size and was versatile for paddling, hiking or even just wearing during yard work. I appreciate being able to have greater coverage without the bulk and weight of a heavy shirt!
