I love this basket! Great for extra space.
I just got back from Indiana, and we are heading to California soon. I wanted more space for equipment and emergency supplies. I'm currently adding a full-size spare. Great quality, and fits my car PERFECTLY. I super recommend this if you also have a Crosstrek or Impreza.
Great looking functional rooftop cargo basket
I preordered this basket when it was first available for preorder and waited 3 months; was about to cancel the pre-order and opt for a LoadWarrior instead. Glad I waited and enjoyed using it for about a year on our 2012 Toyota Prius. We use it to go on road trips. It holds our 26 or 50 quart roto-coolers easily along with our Weber Q1200 portable gas grill on cart. Two things I like about this basket. The looks, I love the slick aero looks of it compared to the boxy Load Warrior basket. Two, the adjustable accessory bars on top. This allows you to move the bars horizontally and clamp down on a large item, such as a cooler or baggages. The plus side is you can mount other Yakima racks on these accessory bars, such as a bike rack or ski holders. I also added the TopGrip OG clamps with custom foam gasket to hold down my 6' fishing rod.

5/5 stars! I love this roof rack. the selling points for me was the accessory bars, accessories, and easily attach-ability. I highly recommend buying the SKS locks for this roof rack considering the ease of removing it. Protect your investment.
Wrong Wind Deflector Strap clamps
This Cargo basket is very high quality. I am very impressed with the design, quality and adjustability. However, the wind deflector straps that were included with the cargo basket are too small for the tubing size. The instructions clearly show the teeth going into the strap slot all the way and I am barely able to get it to grab on one or two of the teeth. I am very experienced installing auto accessories. I am very mechanical and I’ve never had a problem following directions or figuring things out when the directions were not done well. I emailed Yakima 2 weeks ago and have yet to hear a response. If I were rating Yakima I would give them zero stars for customer service response.
