Poor for camping, very poor for backpacking
Just returned from 3 week camping trip and used this towel extensively. Very soft towel but it kinda of sticks to wet skin - does not glide across wet skin so you have to pat yourself dry. Takes 2 full days to dry which is a major drawback for those who shower every day when showers are available. Stuff sack is tight and annoying to repack. Lastly it's overpriced. There are better performing less expensive towels available.

Can't recommend for extended trips

Part of my distaste for this product was I ordered it online and didn't really understand it was microfiber of this type. I read "waffle texture" and thought, oh, that's different and might be nice. I thought it would have a waffle texture so it would have loft, but that it would be thin enough to dry quickly. When I received it, I was disappointed that it is just run of the mill microfiber. There's nothing special about its texture. It is bulky and doesn't pack down in a slim profile. Because it's microfiber, it sticks to the skin. Handling this with dry skin will make you feel like you're made of sand paper. I returned it.

Terrible product for camping

This is a pretty generic microfiber with no waffle texture to speak of, and very absorbent. One side is soft microfiber loops, and the other side is the scratchy, dry microfiber. But when it comes to camping, this is completely the wrong material to use. I dropped it once on the ground, and it's now covered in leaves, grass, and twigs that are caught in the microfiber loops, impossible to remove even after two washes. Not recommended unless you don't plan on ever letting this towel come into contact with artifacts of the outdoors.

Great Towels for the VanLife

Getting ready for VanLife and testing these towels for it. We bought 4 of them to replace 15+ bath towels we owned because we felt they would meet the strict criteria for Van dwelling. So far so good! They are luxuriously soft, they dry you off very fast and the towel itself dries very fast. Extremely absorbent. These would have hit 5 stars for me, but they harbor smells that are difficult to wash out- I am guessing this is the high absorbency and the towels ability to lock in a ridiculous amount of water, also locks in all the smells pretty hard. I can’t seem to get them as clean and fresh smelling as I could with our old conventional cotton towels. Not the worst thing to deal with, just need to wash them more often, and make sure you have VERY thoroughly cleaned yourself before drying off with these to keep them cleaner longer

Great towel, bad clasp

I bought two of these for camping and they performed great on their first trip. They are plush but lightweight, absorbent and quick to dry. I don't love the way they snag on rough skin, but that's microfiber for you. Unfortunately, on only its second washing, the hanging loop on one towel suffered a broken clasp. I can close the loop, but can't re-open it. I'll be using a carabiner in the future to hang up the towel rather than go through the hassle of sending it back.

Good for hair, otherwise smears the water around

I'm pretty disappointed in this towel. I was hoping it would get better with time or I'd get used to it or something but it didn't. Wrapping my hair in it was good and my hair dried fast but as a body towel, it's a no go. I tried wiping the water off and it just moved it around. I tried pat drying but it really didn't do much. I would not recommend unless you plan on walking around naked to finish air drying.

So soft!

I've always heard microfiber towels are not comfortable but I would disagree! This towel is very soft and works exactly as described! Absorbs lots and dries quickly. My only downside are the dimensions it is fairly long but not nearly as wide as a normal towel which can be tricky if you are used to using towels to cover up. I'm petite and this towel would work in a pinch but probably not for anyone taller.

Don't drop this on the ground

This towel should not be used outside. If you drop it on the ground you will spend the next hour picking leaves and dirt from it.
