Works great and looks great
I've been kayaking for about 15 years and have gone through several similar products to transport my kayak on the roof rack. These are by far the best. They are low profile and the inner foam feels like it will keep its shape longer than the competitors products I've used previously. The top of the pads has a non-slip cover that really works -- obviously you still need to strap down your water craft, but it helps. Plus they look good. My only complaint is that the foam core doesn't extend to the edges of the product so the dimensions listed are really misleading. I don't have the pads in front of my now, but I'd guess the padding ends about 2-3 inches from edge of the sleeve. So if you have a wider kayak or water craft you might want to consider that.
Perfect for my Subaru
My 2014 Subaru has flat roof racks rails. I tried some cheaper pads that didn’t work or slid around. These were just what I needed for my sup.

This is the Perfect fit on my Tacoma. I use it to carry my kayak. It’s easy to remove and gives me all the protection I need.
Great pads for aero bars!
I bought these to go over my Thule aero bars. Great fit, and the Velcro has super strong hold. I leave them on the bars full time, as I go paddling at least once a week. They provide good padding for my plastic whitewater and sea kayaks. Haven't yet tried them with my fiberglass boat, but expect them to be fine.

I purchased these to go on my new aerobars. Works good and stays on well.
