Holy Socks
I love Balega socks. This is my 5th pair. 3rd Ultra light pair but unfortunately this one now has a hole after 4 uses. The brand and style is very comfortable, My two other ultra light pairs, although older are still in great condition. Maybe this particular one was just a bum pair.
Best running sock I've ever purchased!
I didn't intend on purchasing this sock until I read the reviews online (thank you to all who previously wrote a review!). I have used Balega socks in the past for trail-running and ultramarathons, though this time I was looking for a lightweight sock with a low profile for an upcoming road marathon. Along with purchasing the Smartwool PhD Light Elite Micro, I decided to give this a try during a mid-distance tempo run. What a treat! After multiple runs consisting of 5-10 miles, these are by far the best socks I've ever ran in. I wish I could tell you about all the wonderful features, but perhaps the best selling point I can offer is that it's what you DON'T notice about this sock that makes it so special. [At least for my foot] there is no rubbing, no discomfort, no pooling of moisture, and the heel tab is super comfortable and plush whereas with the Smartwool, I noticed more rubbing in the toes/upper (perhaps due to the construction of the sock) and a very cramped feeling. With the Balega, it's like you don't even notice that you have a sock on. I'm not sure how the lifespan will stack up, but for the price point I haven't found anything comparable. Highly suggest this sock for road runners in it for the long haul!

Fantastic running socks and bought a couple of pair even though they are exorbitantly expensive. The star I took off was based on pricing alone. Never a blister. Best feel for a sock among all I have tried---extreme form fitting but not restrictive; breathable/cool; stay in place; durable.

Walked right in and asked employee which of the two main brands were recommended and most often purchased and why and the answer was given in two minutes. I love the product because they fit properly, are lightweight and feel great with my solomen shoes.
Best Socks EVER
This sounds silly but these are really THE best socks. I also like the regular Balega socks, but prefer this particular pair bc they are SO comfortable. I workout six times a week and it's so nice to have lightweight yet durable socks.
Love these socks
I bought these socks for running. The tab at the back keeps them from sliding down on my heel. They keep my feet dry and I love that there isn't a seam on the toe.

These are some of the best fitting socks I have ever put on! I love how the fit snug around my foot and they don't slip into my shoe. I wish REI had more colors.
Comfy running sock
I LOVE these socks!!! They feel so comfy when I run in them. They do not slide off my heel like some socks do. And I got the Ultra light because I don't like my socks thick. I ran a couple 10ks in them and felt no chafing or discomfort. Will definitely be buying more of these socks.
Perfect Fit - Balega the Best
I love Balega socks. The Ultra light are super-thin, but they never slip below your shoe. I was introduced to these in a running store in Tallahassee, FL. SO happy to see that REI carries them!
Favorite running socks
I’ve had these super soft socks for several months and love running in them. No signs of wear so far; have purchased more Balegas since bc my biggest regret was only having one pair!
