Poor quality stitching around shoulders
The new Saraha T-shirts have extremely poor quality stitching around shoulders. How could REI's quality control department miss this flaw? Please bring back the original Sahara T-Shirt.

Very soft, but oversized
Love the feel of the shirt, but it hung off me (I'm a 42 chest) and it was pretty oversized and I plan on exchanging for medium

These are very comfortable shirts. Very roomy and light weith. Not restricting at all. Soft too.
Great for casual wear/dayhiking
I purchased this shirt because the Screeline Crew Shirt wasn't available. I bought it for a backpacking shirt and compared to the Screeline Crew, I thought this shirt was sub-par. It didn't wick moisture as well, and it didn't fit as well. Having said that, it is not a bad shirt by any means. I use mine more for casual wear and love it for that purpose. It's very comfortable and soft.
Fits really well and looks great
The REI Co-op Men's Sahara T-shirt fits really well, is very comfortable and has an SPF 50 rating. I liked it so much I bought 2 more.
Great base layer!
I bought my 1st one almost a year ago and now have 5. Great first layer for active outdoor activities. primary 1st layer soft, smooth and wicking.
New favorite hiking shirt
This shirt is the perfect mix of breath-ability, fabric weight, and sizing. Stood up to odors with heavy use over 4 days in Yosemite.
