Excellent do-it-all sunglasses

Absolutely loved these do-it-all sunglasses. I took them mountain biking, gravel riding, trail running, fly fishing, grocery shopping, and mowing - and they handled them all perfectly. First, the light brown tint of the lenses is perfect for sunny and mixed cloud conditions. They're not overly-dark or too light, which is perfect to still see clearly on a sunny or cloudy day and with plenty of color. Next, they are really comfortable. Very light and the lens height and width is pretty ideal for covering your whole eye and not letting any wind get in. Last and most important is the fit of the sunglasses. They didn't slide off my face or bounce around during trail running, when I got super sweaty and was bombing down gravel hills, and just doing typical yard work pulling weeds. Honestly after a minute or two you hardly notice they are there anymore. At an extremely reasonable price I would highly recommend these sunglasses to anyone and everyone. They're right up there with my other Native and Smith sunglasses that are 2-3x the price.

Good lenses, cheaply made frames

I had bought a pair in the early summer of 2018. I enjoyed the lens clarity and the lightweight frames. At or about four months, the frames began to delaminate. I guess the frames are just wrapped with a vaneer coating of some kind. Disappointed. I brought them back to REI and a chose the same pair again to confirm if I initially received a defective pair or if SunCloud is turning out a poor product. I paid $50 for the pair, so I'm not expecting top shelf performance, but these are Wal-Mart $5 "cheapes" either.

Did not disappoint!!

These sunglasses are amazing! The shape provides perfect coverage over my eyes. The coloring and the polarized lenses work great in all levels of light, whether it’s super sunny or cloudy. I used them for hiking around Phoenix and Colorado and they performed beautifully!! I usually don’t like sunglasses that have rubber in nose piece, but because these are slightly recessed they were hardly noticeable and extremely comfortable. They stayed in place no matter what I was doing. I really love the style of them too. I also like the brown tortoise shell pattern, it looks great with everything that I wear.

Great light weight sunglasses

Received these a week or so ago and I have enjoyed them immensely. First day out was a a few days preparing for and working a trail race and these glasses held up great over that long weekend. I wore them all day quite comfortably in direct sunlight. Since then I have used them everyday and I would say that they seem to offer similar comfort, weight and glare reduction as compared to my more expensive Oakleys. I have owned nicer sunglasses in my life but for the price I appreciate the build quality and light weight. I will certainly be getting a second pair as backup for my pack.

Great sunglasses. They look and fit great!

I've been using these sunglasses since I received them for every trip. I think they look and function great. What stood out to me most was the fit. When I am hiking, working, sweating, moving around, leaning down, etc. I have trouble keeping other glasses on my face without them moving around or falling off. These glasses fit perfectly. They don't slip, slide or put too much pressure on my head or ears. The visibility is great and the sun protection is as well. These glasses have become my primary pair of sunglasses!

Nice!

I have been wearing these the last week and a half. I have worn them on runs and walks, I use them driving, and out and about. Pros: Love the grip on the nose piece, they stay in place on my face. They don't move around when I'm running, they don't fall off when I tie my shoes, I love that. Very comfortable-- they do not place too much pressure on the sides of my head, so I have had no issues with headaches. Excellent coverage, the lenses are large enough that I really seem to be getting a lot of sun protection. Lightweight They came with a storage bag. Cons: When I push them up on the top of my head, they inevitably fall forward when I move my head, and fall onto the ground if I bend over. If I laugh, they've gone off the back of my head. So, that's annoying. I've worn them with a strap and will just have to wear them on the strap around my neck rather than on the top of my head. Conclusion: These are great for outdoor activities and driving, I really like them for long days in the car or on runs. However, they just can't be my go to for daily use. That is simply because on a daily basis I have my sunglasses perched on the top of my head about half the day. But there are so many great things about them-- so don't rule them out before you try them on!

Durable and Good Looking

I don't usually write reviews but felt inclined after owning these sunglasses for a few months. They look great and are surprisingly durable. I recently wiped out on my OneWheel and these sunglasses took a beating. I rinsed them off the mud and popped the lens back in. They looked good as new without a scratch.

Cheap frame

I picked up a pair of these and really liked them for driving and walk, however when I took a short flight I put these in a screening bin at the airport with a laptop and phone and when they came through the other end of the x-ray machine they were broken. They broke at the joint which is plastic so there was no way to repair them. It's a shame, I liked wearing them and the lenses were good but they are just really cheaply made.

Great on the water!

Solid, inexpensive polarized sun glasses that work well on the water. The lenses work great to cut through glare. These shades are lightweight, but don’t feel cheap or poorly constructed. They also look good enough for casual wear away from the water. The frame shape is traditional, so if you like more of a wrap around feel these may not be for you. I don’t think they would be my pick for active pursuits due to the frame shape, but all in all a good addition to the sunglasses quiver.

Lightweight Active Wear Sun Glasses

I tend not to get nicer sunglasses since I lose them constantly, but luckily this pair has lasted and doesn't have a chip on them. I've been looking for a pair that is good for use while being active (running, climbing) and for the car during sunny drives. The nose pad area is soft, while not padded it doesn't wear down the top of your nose. The temples glide onto my ears and side of the head smoothly. The bridge isn't noticeable when you are running where as some other glasses are. The rims themselves give a good view and the don't block any sections of your eye. These are also very lightweight and the polorization is good but not overwhelming as some glass frames can be. The only bit I would change is how the temples fit on the sides, making them a smidge tighter would be good as I have noticed when I am sweating while running and bend down to tie my shoe they've fallen once or twice.

Great Polarized Value

I’ve had these sunglasses for a few weeks now. I’ve used them casually, biking, and small river fishing. The polarization is pretty good for the price point. The tint really makes your greens “pop”. They worked well for me while fly fishing as the light got a little lower when the sun fell behind the trees. The polarization is not as good as some other shades made specifically for use on the water, but exceeded my expectations at the cost. I really like the shape of these and the subtle tortoise shell color way. I prefer a gloss finish usually, as greasy sunscreen smudges are more visible. The frames are light and the nose pads kept the glasses in place as I biked down a bumpy riverside trail. They got the toddler treatment too: No scratches after a few slides across the counter and we’re knocked to the floor. They’ve been slimed with mystery foods and the lenses cleaned up nicely with a little glasses cleaner. Awesome bang for your buck with these shades. My only wish is for a hole at the end of the arms to clip onto a neck retainer.
