Packed down my sleeping bag perfectly
I bought the 15L compression sack for my REI Lyra 24 sleeping bag and the difference is amazing. Since this sleeping back is synthetic, I didn't really expect it to pack down too much, but with the compression sack, my sleeping bag can now fit into the sleeping bag compartment of my Osprey Kyte 46 backpack. The straps are super easy to tighten, and they don't slip out of place when tightening. I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner!

Compression but with a lot of hassle
Bought thinking these were another compression product - couldn’t tell from the packaging how it worked. Maybe I’m old and stupid, but wow, it sure seemed like WAY more hassle getting that thing to work than it was worth. WAY more. Other products offer compression without brain damage and hassle.

Yellow and purple

I have the 5L (yellow) for clothes and 10L (purple) for my Nemo Rave sleeping bag (down) both Compression Sacks work perfectly for what I need for 2-3 days of adventuring. And the bright colors make them easier to find at dusk. 5L is enough room for 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 2 shirts, 2 pair of tall wool socks, gloves and underwear. It all doesn’t compress a lot, but enough. FYI you’re clothes will be wrinkled (I don’t care about wrinkles when adventuring though).

10L pairs with Trail Pod 30 perfectly!

I recently purchased the REI Co-op backpacking bundle for my trip to Isle Royale National Park. the REI Trail pod 30 sleeping bag takes up a lot of room in a backpack if rolled up as normal. I purchased the 10 L stuff sack and my sleeping bag fit in it's like a dream! In fact, it packed it down to about 1/3 the original size. That left a lots of room for other backpacking Essentials for our 8th day trip.

nice and compact

I'm fairly new to the whole idea of backpacking and am very used to campground camping where weight and size didn't necessarily matter as much. So I went into REI to purchase a new sleeping bag and was kind of skeptical when the employee told me that I could probably get away with a 10L sack. I am amazed that my womens REI Co-Op Joule 30 sleeping bad was able to fit into a 10L compression sack. The sack is very durable and i love how easy it is to stuff it in there and compress it down even more.

My Bag Bag

Used this to compress my sleeping bag. Previously I would place my bag horizontally in the bottom of my pack but it would be so wide as to make my side pouches tough to get into while wearing my pack. Basically it compressed my bag down by 4 to 6”.

Serious space saver

The 15 L Lightweight Compression Sack fits a good deal of clothing. I have yet to try to put my sleeping bag in it, I use it for travel more. It doesn't add much weight in my backpack or luggage but greatly increases what I can fit. It's been durable through six months of traveling. Especially considering the great price, REI brand would be my first pick for stuff sacks.

Compacts well, strong material

I have a 0 degree real down sleeping bag that doesn’t fit in my backpacking pack, this compression sack halved its size and now it fits well. Material seems pretty strong as well :)

Works with EE Revelation Top Quilt

Bought to use with my EE Revalation top quilt. I customized my quilt so its long and wide and while it was a tight fit it worked well. Felt like quality materials (not cheap) and performed as hoped. Only wish my store had the blue/gray, the only option I had was bright yellow.

Exactly What I Needed

Does the job well, and feels durable when strapping down each line. I brought my 20L sleeping bag in the store to make sure I had the right fit, and the nice lady immediately shrunk the bag size in half.

Works

Works. I have a 100% wool queen-size blanket stuffed inside it. Makes it easier to pack down. As well keeps it intact and neat.
