Great Gear Hauler!

I was looking for a big duffel that I could load up with gear for whatever sport I was pursuing for the weekend. But I wanted something more than just a fabric tube with straps. With this duffel I can keep my gear organized and haul it around with me comfortably. I really dig the the helmet carry - it seems to fit both my bike and ski helmet really well. The fabric seems to be quite heavy duty, so I think it will handle air travel abuse quite well. I've only had it a few weeks - but so far, so good!

Perfect ski/gear bag

The 75L Bigkit was bought to replace my 57L Thule round trip boot backpack for skiing. So much more space it's much easier to pack now. I can bring everything I want (including my downhill boots) and fit my Kamber 22 skiing pack in it as well! One huge difference from other ski packs is the boot compartment, there's a drain and the boots face sideways not out, keeping the weight closer to you and easier on your back. Very comfortable. I use it to lug my mountain biking stuff around too. So the interior water bottle pouch is very handy. Only one con, the goggle pouch isn't crushproof. Highly recommend.

Practical but not comfy for long walk

This thing passes united basic economy, delta basic economy and spirit airlines so far for under the seat requirements for cheapo fair airline tickets. Just don’t make it too full so you can squeeze it a bit if needed to claim some extra space. Its good for 7 days trip, although i’ve packed 15 days of stuff to Japan once with this. The only drawback is the comfortability, it’s just not good for long walk. Other than that, it’s Osprey with its lifetime warranty.

Another great bag from Osprey

Used this on an international trip to put my smaller backpacking backpack within as well as my hiking poles. Fits a lot but keeps things compact - easy to carry and able to hold a lot of weight. High quality, endured being held up in customs and transferred over 3 layovers, etc. Happy with this!

Decent bag, poor design

All of the outer pockets pack inwards. There's no outward expansion, so if you put anything in the pockets, you can't use the main compartment of the bag. Some of the features are cool, like the storable backpack straps. But overall - Poor design. Not sure it holds as much as the specs claim.

Great bag for organizing your gear.

This is a great bag. The concept...instead of a duffel with a large central storage void make the bag with side and top access zippered compartments that allow you to organize your gear in the main storage area. So you can keep your dirty stuff, your wet stuff, your clean stuff and your unmentionables or your tech gear separated. The bag is a little large for airline travel, but unless you get a tough gate agent you can probably slide, especially since it's soft sided and will crush down a little unless stuffed full. One draw back is the zippers snag once in a while, but take your time. With all of the well thought out storage pockets it is easy to forget which pocket is holding which items you packed. Finally this isn't a technical backpack by any means, but Osprey included tuck away shoulder straps which also have a velcro option that allows them to be used like a standard backpack or a duffle carry. This is a cool bag and it seems really well built. I've used it for everything I do so far from weekend trips to carrying my climbing gear to the crag. Love it. You will be finding hidden pockets and zippers that go to well thought out storage areas for weeks after getting this bag.

just plain awesome

I rarely write reviews, but I simply had to after using this for a couple weeks. It obviously is bigger than the trailkit and snowkit, but it also have more compartments. I compared them in store. For skiing this actually wood hold ski boots plus other gear with no problem. The snowkit, if you add ski boots, that will consume most of the bags volume. Not snow for this bigkit. It is awesome. And totally not just for ski trips. I use this almost daily. Car keys wallet water bottle in separate compartment, dirty clothes in a separate compartment to clean, it just goes on and on. If you don't fill it to the gills, just cinch it down, it's smaller and lighter. But it always has the potential to hold LOADS should you need it for that, and keep it organized to boot!

Great Duffel

I bought this duffel 4 months. It holds so much. I wear boots, layers, and insulated overalls to work in the winter. So I mostly use it for a gym bag in the winter to pack all my work clothes in after I change. It is very well made. I would definitely recommend this bag. It can be used for so many things.

Great for road trips and ski weekends!!

First thing I did was grab all my gear and check out what this bag had to offer. This pack is great. It has a pocket for everything! I really like it and have received multiple complimentson it. The main pack storage gets a little crowded with ski/board boots in, but if you get creative you can make it work.

Bought Two

Bought this for my son for weekend travel as a Christmas gift. Really great as there are so many pockets and areas to organize. Shoulder straps are comfortable and when in use effective and when stowed they stay that way. Great bag for a long weekend when you dont need some hard, wheeled bag. Liked it so much I bought a second one for myself.
