Surprised by how much I love these!

I was on vacation and my sunglasses broke. I always wear cat eye style but I was in Alaska and options were limited. I bought these because the sales lady just gushed about how they looked on me. She didn't do that with other pairs, including more expensive ones. She seemed quite sincere. I figured they'd at least get me through the trip. I have extremely sensitivity eyes and wear sunglasses a LOT! These are AMAZING! They are light and comfortable. They don't slide down my nose at all. They filter the light without making things dark at all. Oddly, it feels brighter when wearing them but easier to see. The only issue at all is that it makes the digits on my car screens rainbow colored. That's not a bad thing, just the only quirk. I'm over the moon with these and I've owned much more expensive glasses before. I'm hooked on these from now on!

Great shades for all uses!

Second pair of these (first one broke on a boat, nothing negative about the durability there, I just put them through the ringer quite a few times) I absolutely love these shades! Great protect and style for riding motorcycles, taking boat trips, biking, hiking or hanging with friends on a warm summers day. Could not recommend the Sunski Madrona's enough!

Sunglasses yes, glasses no!

I have these in sunglasses and for blue light glasses. The sunglasses are great and last forever. I throw them in my bag, in the car, etc, and it just keeps going. The blue light glasses sit on my desk only, and the first pair had the frame crack just sitting on my face. I bought another pair thinking it was a bad nut, but this second pair is doing the same thing, cracking in two places this time and likely to split at any moment. No idea why the blue light frames are so different from the same sunglass frames, but they are so much more fragile and I wont be buying a third one.

Hi there, there seems to be some funkiness going on here. Could be a bad batch of frames - but no worries, these are still covered under our lifetime warranty!

fav sunglasses ever

I've been wearing some variation of the classic madronas/headlands for many years now and they are by far my fav sunglasses, specifically the brown madronas. I admit I've had to replace them because eventually the frame on the tortoiseshell ones get kind of tacky feeling (this was a pretty old frame, might not happen on the newer ones), but still 100% worth it for all the wear I get out of them. I am not delicate with these glasses. They are super lightweight and I love them for running, biking, hiking, and general fashion -- so comfy and so flattering. The brown lenses take abuse better than the colorful lenses, fwiw. Best sunglasses ever!

Best sunglasses

Madrona are my husband's and mine favorite sunglasses. They are unisex, lightweight, and comfortable. We like blue color shades and we wish “Madrona sunglasses” could come in more colors!

Smudge and smear marks

I bought these sun glasses a few weeks ago and within a week there are smudges on the lenses I can’t get off. I’ve tried cleaning it with water, soap and water, eye glass cleaner etc but it won’t go away. The smudges turn into smears. Going to return.

2/3 'aint bad.

Third pair of Sunski's I've bought. I keep coming back because I love them, and wear them until they wear out. (Also I'm a creature of habit and when I find something I like, I tend to stick with it.) This last pair I bought is as good as the others, except that the arms are really stiff, and the one doesn't want to fully extend open.. it's a bit of a pain but not the biggest deal. Had I been shopping in person rather than online, I would have picked a different pair - but I guess that's the perils of online shopping. That said, love them and will buy another pair when I inevitably scratch up my current pair too much.

Nice frames, susceptible lenses

Cool glasses, but my first pair of lenses were mirror blue and the first scratch appeared within the first week. Within a month both sides were scratched enough that it was too much of a distraction to wear them. I was pretty careful about storing them in the cloth case and using it to clean. I am glad that the replacement lenses are reasonably priced so that I could give the glasses a second chance, but this time I am trying the amber lenses to see if they are more durable. I just installed the new lenses last night so the jury is still out! Also, when I can, I will rinse with water to remove salt from sweating, but when I am out being active this is not very convenient.

Nice glasses, but not tough enough to survive me

I loved my Madronas for the first year I had them. They were light, stylish, and fit me well. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of asking my spouse to clean my lens and he scrubbed the blue tint right off of them, rendering them useless. Mea culpa. I decided to order replacement lenses and was so excited to get them in the mail. I followed the directions to swap the lenses, but still managed to crack my frames in the process. Ugh. I could pay to ship the frames to Sunski for a potential replacement, but I think it is time to cut my losses. It is hard to justify putting more money and energy into these glasses.
