Sizing Notes
Select the letter that matches your shoe size range. Letters on all Superfeet products represent heel cup width. For Superfeet insoles to work properly, your heels must be "in" the heel cup entirely, not "on" the heel cup on either side of foot. Stand on a pair of Superfeet in the letter that corresponds closest to your shoe size making sure your heel fits nice and snug "in" the heel cup. If that heel cup is too small, select the next letter size up. After you find your perfect heel-cup fit, simply trim the excess foam (using the sock liner from any of your shoes as a guide) and insert the new trimmed insoles into your shoes (removing the sock liners first).

Destroyed after a week
Insoles were destroyed after 5 days of hiking. The top cloth was the first thing to fail after a dry day of hiking, separating at the heel cup and midfoot. Next few days the green foam started to deteriorate along with the orange layer separating from the base. The adhesive seems to be defective along with durability issues with the foam. SuperBummed
Very comfortable but peeling after 5 weeks
I was skeptical of $50 insoles but they are more comfortable than the factory insoles in my Solomon Quest 4D boots and possibly cooler (hard to tell). I use them mostly for walking, a few miles a day on a dirt road and they have never gotten wet. I remove them after use to let them air out. Despite this, the decorative top layer is beginning to separate from the insoles after only 5 weeks or use. Seems that it must be a bad design or poorly manufactured. I will make use of the 90-day return policy and try another pair in case this one was a dud. It would be 4.5 stars if it stayed intact for at least a year (losing half a star for being extremely over-priced).
Awesome Insole
In my opinion these are a performance version of the traditional blue insoles for medium arches with additional cushion and larger plate. I have worn superfeet on a good chunk of the Appalachian Trail. This insole has a deeper and more-rounded heel box that should help prevent my feet from slipping forward. I am curious to see how the added heel cushion works in the long-term. I was able to cut this insole to fit the large toe-box in my Altra Lone Peaks, which surprised me. Superfeet could definitely do a better job of categorizing and explaining insoles with simple metrics. I felt like I took a $50 risk when I ordered but glad I did.
These created pain
I got these to try to increase the antimicrobal game in my hiking boots. I wore them twice on a walk around the neighborhood to break them in before going on an extended hike. After only wearing them twice I have developed planters fasciitis. Seems like the opposite of what an insole should do. The heel is SO hard and I was shocked at how uncomfortable they were. I thought maybe it was just a necessary break in period but now I have this sharp shooting pain in my heel when I try to do yoga and when I’m walking. Really sad to have spent so much money on these. I also cut them to size so I don’t know if the REI warranty would even let me return.
Great improvement over stock insoles.
I bought this pair of insoles to compliment my Salomon X Ultra 3's. I took them out on a weekend backpacking trip through the Smokey's from Fontana lake to Clingman's Dome. What can I say they are great! My feet normally give me problems after a long day hiking but not after using these bad boys. These insoles are a little tall as others have mentioned. I however have no problem with them over crowding my toe box. If you double up your socks while hiking you may run into some problems with tighter fitting shoes. I am very pleased with my purchase and they are worth every penny I spent, without a doubt.
Excellent support brings happy feet
Your feet will be happy with these premium insoles. While the box clearly states Hike Support, I personally use them in my work boots. This purchase is a replacement. This is the brand that works the best for my feet.
Removed all doubt
I've never bought a pair of replacement/upgrade insoles before. My insoles where far from worn out and were not causing me any foot issues - but if an upgrade in insoles would make my feet even more comfortable, that would be a plus! I didn't get to test them out good before heading off on a little backpack trip, so I did take the original insoles just in case. The trailblazer's were so comfortable, I never even contemplated replacing with the original insoles and tossed those out as soon as I got home. Comfort - excellent. Cost - okay. Durability - we will see!
Couldn't find a size that matched my arches
I've worn Superfeet in my hiking boots before, but had never tried these new Trailblazers. The ball of the foot and toes are really well cushioned, and the heel/arch support does keep your foot stable in the boot. Unfortunately, on one of my feet the arch support didn't line up with the natural arch of my foot. It was placed too far back and pressed into the back part of my arch and into the base of my heel, causing pain after a few miles of walking. I tried sizing up to adjust the arch placement with no luck. I'm sure these will fit some folks with more consistent sizing between feet, but they didn't work our for me. I went with Sole inserts which can be heat molded to match my feet a little better.
Comfy but poor quality or quality control
Super comfy, perfect fit in my boots. Low rating is due to durability and overall quality of the product. I purchased 3 days ago. Broke them in with an easy 3 mile hike. Used my boots for two days of work, I am on my feet all day for about 8 hours working with dogs but the walking conditions are easy and nothing compared with the extended hike I'm planning for new year day at Idyllwild. I noticed halfway through my shift yesterday that the top layer of my right insert was separating from the base.... I'm used to it happening with inserts and would typically just pull it off and carry on, but it's not just the fabric pulling up it's the cushion itself separating as well... and it has never happened this quickly - my last inserts were dr scholls that I had in for 3 years.
Best thing I've found in years
I've had Plantar Fasciitis for several years and I've tried multiple shoes and heel inserts. I've been buying expensive running shoes that were the only thing that moderately helped for the past 4 years. Before I bought this insole my feet had been hurting daily for almost a year despite the shoes. After a week I can tell an obvious difference. I held off on buying one of these before because of the price, but I'm going to get a second pair this week to put in my work boots - it's definitely cheaper that the shoes I kept trying. The only negative I found was the same as another reviewer - they are a little high, so it causes crowding in the toes. I actually trimmed them back from the toes to stop at the ball of the foot and they work fine and don't crowd anymore. I recommend highly.
