I love these Ah nu shoes. This is my second season with them and they are just fantastic. I got caught in a storm in Montreal Canada we walked back to hotel from dinner in 16 degree weather and my feet were fine. I'm so pleased that this shoe is made in the US. The price is a fair one considering the quality of the shoe. I sometimes leave these on when I'm teaching and never have a problem with feet sweating and then getting cold. Perfect shoe for in and out of the weather.
I found that the heel cup dug into my heel too much to keep these. I ordered my normal shoe size and thought they were sized appropriately, big enough to wear a medium thickness wool sock. I really like Ahnu hiking boots, but these shoes were not comfortable. Maybe it was a defective pair?
I wore these all over Ireland and they were great! Water proof and comfortable! Nearly always were appropriate looking for what we were doing but definitely "hiking boot" look.
