  • Inflates up to a rock-hard 20 PSI for performance that rivals a hard board, and then folds up compactly when deflated for easy transport and storage
  • Axis technology, an acrylic stiffening agent integrated in the deck, improves stiffness and performance without adding weight or making the board harder to roll up
  • Removable, interchangeable fins let you customize your setup, and the ABS plastic fins absorb impacts without breaking; incudes one 9 in. fin and one 5 in. fin
  • Double sidewall construction increases durability and streamlines aesthetics; heavy-duty PVC drop-stitch construction stands up to abrasion and abuse
  • Top-quality Leafield D7 inflation/deflation valve for unsurpassed reliability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great board that glides smoothly through the water I took this board out on an alpine lake in Montana. It was really windy with gust up to 10 mph. But the board still performed wonderfully! First I am a pretty large guy at 235-240lbs and 6'3. I got this board because I wanted to paddle a swifter inflatable that would still be able to hold my weight. And this board had absolutely zero problems doing that. The Escape inflates to 20psi and is extremely rigid. That said the stability is great for a 30 inch mid width. Even in the wind it is was still fairly stable. The board glides through the water easily and there was very little drag. This was impressive to me because I'm a larger guy and inflatable touring boards tend to sag and drag through the water. There was one small issue that really didn't play to big a deal it was mostly just a small pet peeve. The board comes with nylon loops on the side rails to accomadate a shoulder strap for carrying. I think these create drag in the water but not really enough to notice. This board tracks extremely straight and was still pretty easy to maneuver without having to do drop steps (pivot maneuvers). Quality of the build seems to be very durable and the board packaging is awesome. There was no need to worry about it being damaged in shipping. The pump is pretty strong and I was able to inflate it from flat to 20 psi in about 13 mins without being worn out. The bag it comes in is pretty nice (aestheticly and quality) and wears very comfortably. One beef I have with the pump is the gauge. Occasionally the needle will fall down to like 10 PSI when I'm pumping at higher pressures quickly or jump around when I'm pumping. The problem is when I stop to check the gauge to see my psi sometimes the needle will show very inaccurate PSI readings. To remedy this I just do a couple of long steady slow pumps and the gauge will sometimes right itself.

How long does it take to air it up with the super pump? Thx

Asked by: OceanBoy1999
Depending on the individual pumping up the board, it generally takes between 5-8 minutes to inflate.
