I got one of these PB and dark chocolate bars and at first I liked the crunch! Then I got a taste of a raisin in the mix... To me it tastes like someone drank a PB&J protein drink then Hershey squirted all over some rice crispies and called it a bar. I don't even taste any chocolate... And the package says 2 servings!?!?!?! So..... end conclusion is if you are on a gainer diet and want to pack on some pounds this would work. Tho has hardly any protein in it.
I think it's really good
I'd advise you to look at the ingredients. If you like those things, you'll prolly like this. It has some dried fruit in it, which I consider a plus. To me, it's hard to go wrong with the combo of dark chocolate and pb!
Feel good about taking Kate's Bars hiking
Purchased for backpacking trip in Grand Canyon. Wanted a "healthier" version of an energy bar. Made with real food ingredients, these bars were delicious, filling and energizing!

I am not a snacker, but bought it as extra snack to keep on hand for portland to coast. It was ok. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either.

Taste like it needs to be baked. Very sweet and grainy texture. I could not eat the whole bar.
Tasty but too sweet.
Haven't found a "power bar" yet that isn't too sweet. Think I'll stick to 80%+ dark chocolate.
