Purge valve leaks/doesn't purge air
I bought this and took it on a 6 day river trip in Utah. When I tried it in my house it seemed to seal fine, and I could push air out through the purge valve. after a couple days on the river, this bag was getting more water in than any of my other dry-bags, and it seemed to be wet around the purge valve. It also failed to purge air out after the second day. I will be returning this item.
Favorite Drybag
This bag is excellent. I use it to store my wet clothes and having the vent makes the bag so much easier to compress and throw into a larger backpack. I've had it for a 4 years now and it is still going strong with no serious signs of wear

I wasn't sure on the size and this is perfect to fit all things I need and may need. Very high quality.

this is a really useful dry bag for kayaking because you can see what's inside and not have to root through the whole bag to get it.
Does the job
This is a very good waterproof bag. Just not as thick and substantial as I thought it would be. A little on the flimsy side.

Discovery View Dry Bag
I don't like the opaqueness since I can't see what's inside it. I use these bags for gear storage on my canoe and it is time consuming to open each bag and see what is where. Also the vent valve to expel the air during roll up isn't that effective especially if it is blocked by some gear. On a positive note I like the flexibility of the fabric which makes for a more compact fit up in tight spaces.
I highly recommend this item.
I love how supple the material is and that the bag is clear so there are no questions as to where I put my paddling things. I always can count on SeaLine products to keep my personal items dry when I am out on the water. I highly recommend this item to anyone who participates in water sports.
Versatile and extremely useful
Bought this for the GF to use when she goes to school and she uses the campus pool. She said it works exceptionally well, keeps wet and dry separate and wet or dry. Well made, and a good size for lightweight clothing. Highly recommended
