Rated 5 out of 5 by from practical and well made, super useful mini toolset I've bought and used many types of mini tools to carry on my bike(s), all of them have to make compromises to provide enough functionality, in the most compact design possible - to the point of loosing most all usefulness by being too small to provide enough torque, or shaped to clumsily to allow access to some parts of the bike, or being painful to use. Cheaper ones are poorly made, don't fit well the various bolts on the bike, leading to rounding up bolt heads, or messing up the thread. Enter Topeak Rocket Lite. It's very light (specially if you get rid of the pouch, and of bits you don't need on your bike), is very compact, and just plain works. Once you've used the ratchet, you won't want to go back... It is very functional, despite the small size - fine toothed, you don't have to move the handle very far for it to engage on the next step, so you can use it efficiently in confined space. There's a Goldylock-sized extension for the harder to reach bolts. It seems sturdy enough to let me put a sizeable amount of torque on it, to secure (or loosen up) the seat post bolt, for instance. Has all the basic bits you need on most bikes, but if you require some special one, you can add any standard 1/4" bit you want. The tire levers are just meh - workable on most tires, but not for the more stubborn ones. I consider them as bonus, the tool itself is what matter, i have my lezyne metal lever/15 cm wrench combo if i need to pull out the Big Gun. If you don't mind the few extra grams, the pouch is well designed, holds everything securely, making all the parts easily accessible, and is sturdy and well-made. It seems quite durable. I've had mine for over 6 months, and use it regularly, on the road as well as at home - it replaced my standard 3-headed Allen wrench (did i mention how lovely that ratchet is?) A bit pricey, but not that much compared to the high end tools - and none have that ratchet thing (did I mention how... ? I did? Yes, it's that gooood.) In conclusion: i've ditched all my other multi-tools for this one, and even use it at home. Highly recommended investment.
