Great Pair Of Waterproof Pants
These pants are great! They are definitely waterproof and comfortable to ride in. I am 5’2” and 125lbs. I chose to get the mediums as the Small’s were the same length and I like room through my hips. The pants seemed really big when I first tried them on, but on the bike they are perfect. Straps around legs work great and the zippers make taking them on and off easy. Great pants and keep me dry while commuting.

Inner lining is abrasive, ruins baselayers
The inner lining is slick to the touch but "sticks" to the fabric under it like velcro, so with each pedal stroke you feel the harsh resistance between the pieces of fabric. At the end of my 13 mile commute, I found the friction had frayed a seam on the tights I was wearing under them.

Baggy Knees

Ended up returning due to baggy fit. Really wanted to like them as I commute to work most days by bike and wanted something that could easily pop on over work pants. The waistband and hip/thigh area of the pants was a great fit. However the knees were huge! They have articulation which is a great feature but they were so large I could probably fit knee pads under them and still have bagginess. The wide continued down the ankles which wasn't as much of an issue as I could use the ankle straps and zippers to taper them and seal out from water. Overall construction seemed great and great comfort and mobility but just not practical fit for my needs.

Perfect rain pants for the bike commuter

I bought these pants to wear over my work clothes for my bike commute, and they are perfect. The cut is excellent--roomy, without being bulky. The fabric is truly waterproof--you could take a shower in these pants and stay dry. The material is also a good weight--not too flimsy and thin. They fit great over my clothes, and there was no pesky velcro to rip my nylons. The side zippers are a nice detail (could slip on and off without removing my shoes). I also tried an REI branded rain pant in the store. These were more expensive, but they have a better design, higher overall quality, and just feel like a better quality product. A bit pricey, but totally worth it for the outstanding quality.

Perfect for my commute

I use these pants to commute back and forth to work. They keep me dry in the rain and warm in the winter (with appropriate layers of course). I like how reflective they are and that the bottoms have a cinching option

Great buy

True to size, comfortable, easy to move in. I forget I have them on. And they keep you dry. I use them for hiking, camping and on boat, not on a bike.

Runs small

Runs a little small and is a very firm, crisp, no-stretch material. The elastic waist is so small that the draw string doesn’t really do anything. I thought the Velcro in the legs wasn’t enough where I could tighten around my tiny ankles.

nice pants, not sized as REI claimed

I chose these rain pants because the REI sizing chart showed the Women's Large size inseam was 33". The pants I received have a 32" inseam. This is insufficient for my height, as my trouser cuffs show at the bottom and get soaked in a heavy rain while commuting 20 minutes by bike. I'm disappointed, as they seem like well-made rain pants otherwise.
