bigger than i thought it would be
the specs made me think it would fit my average size 23 month old, but it was too big, and he could easily escape it. the rope tie-in point is also too low for his small size, so he hung parallel with the ground. finally, this lacks a loop on the back of the harness, which is very nice to add a second rope to help guide the child's descent or help pull them down if they are too lightweight for an auto-belay. i then bought the edelrid fraggle ii in size xxs and found it to fit him perfectly when cinched all the way down.

Keeps my little ones safe

I bought one for my 4yr old and one for my 3yr old. The 3yr old's is cinched all the way down but fits well. My 4 yr old said it's very comfy and she loves climbing in it. A great purchase and we prefer the added security over a standard waist harness.

I’ll revise after use—but the fit is great!

Bought so that we can hike on more strenuous trails with less worry about a fall. The fit is great for my three year old! She’s super excited wearing it! She’s about 34-38lbs but taller for her age. Wearts 4T I will up it to five stars based on actual performance later!

Excellent and versatile harness

We bought this harness for our 3 year old daughter as a safety harness to use on our sailboat. It fits very securely and is comfortable enough for her to wear for extended periods of time. She is able to put it on herself and fasten the chest buckle. The balance of the attachment points is also excellent. She stays upright when being lifted with the harness. The quality is excellent - well stitched and reinforced at load points. We are very comfortable using this product as a life safety item.

great fit for many years

My son is 2 and 36 pounds and it just now fits really cinched down. I suspect he will be able to wear for 4-5 years with the adjustable straps. Also keeps little ones from spinning upside down. My son loves it!

Easy to Use and Seems Comfortable

I bought this for my 3yo (37” tall, 30 pounds). It’s still a little big for our petite kid, but it is serving our needs for now. Our kid is happy to wear it for hours at a time and they can step right into it and do the buckle themselves. This winter we’re using it as an anchor for a ski leash, and it’s working really well. The gear loops on the back are easy attachement points for following and the tie in point on the front makes for easy towing while XC skiing or traversing. Hope to use it for climbing this summer, we’ll see if our kid grows enough.

Perfect for my 4 year old

I think my son was more excited about this harness than I was, after ordering it, he would check the porch every day to see if his gear was delivered yet. That being said, he's about 43" tall, 45 pounds and it fits him perfectly. Definitely plenty of room to size down or up. As a parent, I love that it has a high tie in point to keep him upright and more comfortable. The harness is super easy to take on/off and adjustments can be made easily as well. My son loves it so much, he'll put it on and sit around the house watching a movie.

Perfect for little climbers

Bought this for my daughter who is six, it's really easy for her to put on and simple to set up. The thigh straps don't adjust but it doesn't seem to make a difference because it gives room to grow. She should be able to use it for a couple of years.
