SIZING WAY OFF
Someone really needs to change the sizing guidelines on these knee pads. The largest diameter of my 'calves' measure exactly 13-1/8" which falls in the low range of Medium. Medium was almost torture trying to get on as it was extremely tight, rendering the velcro adjustment straps useless. I couldn't bend my knees at all with them in place and it felt like my circulation would be cut off if worn more than a few minutes. I'm not sure if the large would be any more comfortable but I'm not willing to give it another try knowing what I now know. The knee pads are going back and I'll look elsewhere.
comfy!
I started riding more aggressively and decided knee pads were higher on the priority list. Read some reviews and got recommendations of Facebook so I decided to go for these POC VPD 2.0. I have never bikes in knee pads before so I was unsure of hoed they would feel pedaling in. I honestly didn’t notice them one bit. They stayed in place well and were very comfortable. Luckily no falls so far but they feel like they would protect quite well! Very happy with this purchase!!
Great protection and comfort
I use these every ride, often keep them down for big climbs then slip them up for the decent and keep them up for the rest of the day. Went down hard on my left knee the other day, these were amazing. Still bruised but walking/running fine the next day. When you need them you’ll be very glad you got something high quality. Also holding up well in the washer
The perfect knee pads
These are light enough that you don’t feel like you’ve added extra leg, but heavy enough that you feel super protected. I wear them in 90 degree weather and they’re still not uncomfortable. I honestly forget I have them on. I love them! Wouldn’t ride without them.
Happy with my new pads :). Totally worth it
Loved them, fitted too slim at the beggining but at two weeks of use they loosened up and are extra comfy, they are pretty breathable and really protective. Definitely would buy them again. Also great looks.
Very tight pads for DH
I'm a thin person, followed the size guideline. Turned out to be super tight. Very uncomfortable to ride. Later I learned these pads are for aggressive downhill rides. So if you are like me, who peddle a lot, a lighter and more comfortable enduro pads could be a better choice.
Worth it!
Worth every penny. From putting them on until taking them to off they are extremely comfortable and durable. They breathe well and they’re easy to wash.Compared to my smiths these are the epitome me of Mountain bike knee pads.
Very small thigh measurement compared to calf.
Much too small, maybe because of a women's shorter leg? while calf measurement was right on, the thigh measurement was essentially the same. Also bunched a lot in the back, there was too much material there.
Great on mountain bike! Saved me from knee damage!
Been looking for Level 2-certified pads. I think Fox D30 was also on my list. It was only $90 so was going to get it... but I was very lucky to find POC pads on clearance on REI and been loving it! Very comfy and I already fell once with it and I feel like it did its job!
Comfortable
Super comfortable you almost forget they're there. I've been using it for about a month now in the winter of Phoenix and so far I have no complaints.
