The North Face  Wawona 6 Footprint

It was a bit thinner than we expected. It feels like tent floor material, so I suppose it is doing what it’s supposed to. It does not go out into the whole vestibule, which would have been nice for the price of the item. We have used this twice with no dew or rain and didn’t have any issues with dampness. Used it this past weekend with a heavy duty tarp under, so we could have coverage in the vestibule, and we had severe thunderstorms for two days. The footprint was almost completely dry on top, and a little damp on the bottom. I like how it has grommets for the tent poles. If we had it to do over again, I probably would have not purchased the footprint and just used the heavy duty tarp.

I had to wait for a month for this footprint to arrive due to a back orders and was very disappointed when it arrived. It is a basic and nice footprint but not worth the money. This is measured for the Wawona 6 tent and I would have expected it to cover more of the vestibule ground than it did. My alternative that I have used three times before did a much better job and it was a 1/4 the price. I am a huge fan of North Face but not a fan of this product, they can do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was out of stock when we bought our Wawona 6 tent so we used a generic tarp for our first few camping trips. It made a big difference when we finally got the matching footprint! The set up was much easier and we didn't have to worry about it shifting under the tent. We used it on semi-wet dirt/leaves and the tent remained dry.

Great product! Light years ahead of plastic sheet I have always used. Especially love the attachments to the tent poles which ensures the placement is perfect. Drys ultra fast. Well worth the investment.

Bought this for my Wawona 6 tent and it worked as a great barrier to wet ground. This footprint makes setting the Wawona 6 a breeze and also packs away with ease.

This was easy to set up, protected tent well from sand and provided a clean area at the enterance for footwear.

Nice to have a perfect fitting footprint. Worthwhile to protect the investment.

Fits the Wawona 6 tent like it is supposed to. No complaints.
