Not the quality I thought I was paying for
Bought one in "Icy Morn" and one in "Safari". I am unhappy with how see through the Icy Morn colored shirt is. The bulky white pockets sewn in the front of the shirt are very apparent through the shirt material, as is whatever you might be wearing underneath. Additionally, the true color of the shirts are also not accurately portrayed in the model pictures in my opinion. Icy Morn is more vibrant/neon than what I was expecting, and the Safari color is a cooler, more subdued tone than in the picture which portrays more of a warm sage. The Safari shirt doesn't have as bad of a problem with being see through, but the bulky shape of the pockets is still clearly apparent through the thin shirt material. As an aside, I wish that "Fossil" was an available color for the women's Tamiami shirt. I would have just ordered 2 in that color if I had the choice.
Long Deep Wrinkles
Usually I love these shirts. I wear mine every day in the summer over my clothes a mmmd usually buy a new one every couple of years. This year’s shirt has these long, deep wrinkles that DO NOT come out! I tried to return the shirt but all the other ones in REÍ had it too, so I just kept the one I had. The fabrics looks and feels just like my old versions so this makes no sense. I’d just loves to have a wrinkle free shirt once again.

Cloth very thin and see through
I ordered a Columbia PFG Tamiami II Long-Sleeve Shirt - Women's. The cloth is very thin and see through (tissue like). Can’t believe that this cloth would protect anyone from the sun. Disappointing. Returning. Fit was good and delivery was quick enough.
Gorgeous Snap Shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this shirt in the granite purple and absolutely love this shirt!! Normally I’m a PS and the XS fits me to a T with room for a tee shirt. Love the convenience of the snap buttons and the long sleeves that can be rolled up and snapped in place. And checkout the zippered pockets on each side. Wish they were stronger to hold my iPhone, but will take these zippered pockets. The shirt is a comfortable wear, looks great on and it’s a gorgeous grayish purple color. Can be more dressy with the snaps on and over black pants or casual over shorts. Waited since last year for this purplish color to finally go on sale. Hey, Columbia designers, need more purple hues and richer colors rather than hideous pastels.
Stylish, Comfortable Sun Protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought one of these Tamiami shirts a year ago for a hiking trip to Yosemite. I ordered a size XS and was pleased that the sleeves were long enough. Loved the lightweight material and packability. It dried quickly after a rainstorm and the breathability of the fabric made it cool enough to wear during the sunny, hot afternoon. I'm 68 and have skin cancer so sunscreen protection is important to me. Wearing this shirt gives me a break from the distasteful chore of slathering sunscreen on my shoulders and arms. Just bought another one for an upcoming trip to Greece!
Returned- fabric
This seems to be a well made shirt. The Tiki Pink is NOT pink but bright coral. I happen to prefer coral but if you are looking for pink you are apt to be disappointed. I am returning the shirt because the fabric is not to my liking, a bit too sheer to be worn alone and would be too hot for me if layered over a tank top. The fabric weight may not bother you but is not my preference.
Quality diminished
I purchased this shirt previously and I absolutely loved the quality and the design. It was on sale and I was so happy that I ordered 5 shirts. Completely disappointed with the quality of this shirt. The Velcro on the collars would not stick, the material had changed from a silky fabric to an inferior quality of fabric, and the side zippers would not close/open without kept sticking. It wasn't just a problem on one, but all of them! Needless to say I returned all of them. It's a shame that Columbia has decided on producing an inferior product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter bought me one of these shirts about 4 years ago for Mother’s Day...I now have 4 more! I ride horses in these on the warmer desert days, so they can get rather dirty, but I throw them in the washer and dryer and they come out like new! Plus, they don’t fade! I normally wear a size medium, but order a large in these. The medium fits, but is rather snug (I’m 5’3” and average build) and who wants to wear a clingy shirt when it’s hot. The large is loose enough to allow for good air flow and the drape is nice so it doesn’t look like a tent. Sleeve length is generous with double snaps and the length is also good...not too long. I’ll probably buy a few more as I love all the colors!
