Disappointing stitching
I have at least 5 pair of KUHL shorts and all have had the interior waist closure button come off with first wear and wash. Now the stitching that holds on the rear pocket Velcro tabs is coming apart. Even my pockets are developing holes at the stitch points. Don't bother with these. I even saw a pair that belonged to someone else hanging on a dry line outside and could not help myself, so I looked at a strangers shorts and indeed they also has lost the button! Very poor quality stitching!
Great all around shorts
I ordered these on line... I had worn the Kühl Krux short in the other material... I was curious how these would be in the Renagde style with the stretch nylon. They didn't disappoint. Great stretch and mobility... full gussetI in the crotch. I love the cell phone pockets and the internal cargo pockets on the thighs are also air vents when things get warm. The extra length protects the knees and is nice for rock climbing and mountain bike riding. I was bushwahcking through an over grown trail and they offered great protection on my thighs... be material is super tough and despite some serious thorns, no snags at all... I Intravel full time and am always looking for shorts and pants that I can wear while traveling, go into town and workout in... These pants are super quick dry, and can be easily washed clean in a hotel sink or bathtub.. so far I've worn them for rope skipping, 5 km run and bodyweight calesthenics including rope climbing. Nice job Kühl...
Super comfortable
I have several pair of the previous version of these shorts. I love the length and the versatile pockets. I always said that if they were made with a stretch fabric, they would be perfect. Well, these are made with stretch fabric! They improved the pockets also - the side pockets are bigger, and both legs have one now. I just got them, so I can't speak to durability, but these are super comfortable and look great. Awesome improvements to a solid original.
Perfect stylishly long
Great, true to size, nice long length hard to find combination of style, fit light, stretchability for active comfort, side pockets plenty of pockets lightweight breathable moisture wicking and light rain shedding great material looks good and would on any age person.
Best Fabric Ever
Have several pair of the original Krux. Always liked the length but the cotton blend fabric was not up to the design. Enter the Renegade Krux. Now these shorts are perfect as they should be. Try... you'll buy.
Perfect for hiking
My husband wore these non-stop on our last trip to the desert. They dry quick and look nice to wear around town as well.
Cool Kuhls
Kuhl's are the best. super design, quality and customer service (if ever needed) I wore these for a three day Bluegrass festival,, cool, light and held a cell phone and wallet safely on bikes and 4 wheelers

Love these shorts/capris whatever you want to call them. Perfect length for me, not many brands offer something like this. Nearly flawless design, only nit to pick is the Velcro on the rear pocket - I’d have preferred a snap or a zipper or even nothing; Velcro tends to fail and is a bit irritating. But otherwise, I love the fit (comfy-athletic but not baggy), materials, and execution.
Runs small
I orderes these through the website. I eneded up returning them because they were way too small and didnt carry the next size uo that I would've needed.
Haven't taken these off since they arrived.
haaaa! I've been wearing these shorts for the past four days now. I did wash them after two days. I could live in these. I only wear long board shorts and I bought the only size available, 34". I normally wear a 32" but who cares if they're a little big. They feel amazing!
