KUHL  Renegade Cap

I bought the Khaki colored option, but the product photo doesn't resemble the hat. The actual hat is much darker and more like a gray than Khaki. However, the hat feels well made, the logo is minimal, and the strap for tightening the fit works well. I haven't tested it out in the field, as it was just delivered today.

This is one of those caps that makes you look and feel great. I enjoy wearing fitted caps that conform to my head. This is by far one of the best caps I've owned. The material is breathable and feels good. The inside sweat band is also breathable and doesn't create big marking on my big forehead. I wish they made this cap in black. I'd buy 3 if they did.

I bought this hat before I left to hike the Camino. I wore this hat every single day. It provided protection, stayed in place, and looked good :)

I was looking for a cap that I could wear on the trail and in town, that had a shorter, flatter bill than a ball cap, not a lot of height, and no big obtrusive logos. This one does it. The fabric is flexible but has some body to it, and Kuhl seems to have fixed a problem with the strap clasp that wasn't holding well at all. The strap has a keeper that makes it look tidy in the back. And a nice sweat band that doesn't take up a lot of room. Highly recommended.

Generally I do not like wearing hats but since I shave my head I have to endure wearing them during the summer. This is no longer the case since trying out Kuhl’s Renegade hat. The fit is perfect and the material is so comfortable and light, I do not even notice wearing it. I’m now a newly converted hat guy. Thank you Kuhl.

I have several of this hat. Something has changed in the top and now instead of sitting smoothly rounded over my head, it has three peaks where the seams are. Not bad just not what I’m used to with Kuhl’s otherwise great hats.

I am a bald so wearing hats are super important to me. This is my hat of choice. It is breathable and comfortable. I live in Florida and I can wear in the summer without it being to hot but somehow when I travel to cooler climates it seems to give me a little warmth.

I bought this for three days of hiking in Zion. I didn’t even know how much I loved it til the end of the first day when I took it off and realized I’d had it on for a full day of sweaty, sunny hiking.

Have 2 (blue, tan) older hats I have worn out. Went to replace the blue hat. Purchased the exact same hat from REI but it is smaller in size. It does not fit my head. The new hat fits inside the old hat. The SKU is the same. Only obvious difference is there is a lighter grey liner fabric inside the new hat.

I’ve had two because I lost the first and had to replace it. Very comfortable, stays cool, and dries quickly. Lightweight material makes it breathe well making it comfortable to wear for hours. It’s super easy to adjust, but the drawback to that is you can’t wear it backward because the easy adjustment tab in the back flops around freely and therefore into your face when turned around. Still a great hat. I’d replace it again if I had to!
