Perfect for a petite build
I am 5'2" with a bit of a curvy build. My normal, go-to pant is Prana's Halle Pant. I was skeptical that any other pant would work for my height or that the narrow pant leg would work for my wide hips, preferring boot cut. Yet I was compelled to try them on because of how soft they felt on the rack, and when I did, I fell in love immediately. The elastic hem hits my ankle (I love it when others' capris are my normal pants), the low rise fits magically with my hips. They are super soft, flattering, light, and practical. As other reviewers have said, they are a relaxed fit - so that means the good news is that if you've gained weight over the winter, you can stick with your normal size. ;-) I am so super happy, I bought two pairs. Runs very large
i have ten pairs of Prana pants in all different styles, from hiking to climbing to street wear. I wear a size 4 in all of them so I ordered a 4 in this style as well. I was able to put them on without unbuttoning them and they still hung off my hips. Went to the store and tried a 2, still too large in the hips. Ended up with a 0 to get a mid rise and not look like I was being swallowed. Definitely a relaxed fit in the legs but no reason for such a large waistband. Very cute and flattering just highly suggest buying in store if possible.
Fit too loose in the hips
To start I am 5'2" 97lbs and wear size 25 in jeans in almost all brands, am size 0 or 00 if available. I love the material and the fit of these pants as they hit my ankles but the size 0 really should be size 2. They aren't slightly loose that they can sag a bit but are too loose that I can't walk anywhere and expect it to hold up. The drawstring does little to hold the pants up and tbh makes me feel uncomfortable when I have to pull on it so tightly to make it work. I think if you aren't so petite like me and can find a size that will work then they will look great.
Very comfortable
I love these pants. I bought both colors and the fit is perfect. I'm 5'3" 139 lbs. and I bought size 6. The length is perfect for my height, just above my boot top. No sagging. I wish REI had them in black.
Sharp looking, comfortable and great pair of pants
I purchased these pants a few weeks ago, and I am extremely pleased with them. I have not had a chance to wear them for hiking, but rather for running errands and walking around the neighborhood. They are very comfortable, look great on, and overall are a fantastic pair of pants. I am 5'1" and purchased a size 4 which fit exactly perfectly, but they do come to my ankles and are not "cropped" as reflected in the picture. You won't regret buying these pants.
comfy and stylin'
These pants are true to size, fit very nicely, and are of a nice thin material perfect for summertime. The sewn-in pockets are deep enough for me to stash my phone and keys, and the accessory large pockets are perfect for storing snacks or whatever else you might have with you. I was afraid the cuff at the bottom of the pant would be too skinny for my legs, but it's just perfect (maybe a tad difficult to get off if you have larger feet like me). The color is very flattering as well. All in all, great pant for around-the-town!
Lightweight joggers
I really like these joggers! They were exactly what I was looking for. They are really lightweight and breathable. I use them for climbing and don't want to wear anything else while I do it. The storage is perfect and fit is comfortable.
Cool and comfortable
I've worn these just twice now but both times have been great. They're comfortable and feel cool on warm days. I've spilled a bit of water on them and it just beaded up and I was able to brush it off. I'm very pleased with these pants!
Great Fit!
Took a chance and ordered these online without trying them on first and they fit true to size. I'm 5'8 and 170lbs and I ordered the size 12. A nice, loose but flattering fit. Very comfortable! Great for everything from hiking to long plane rides!
Extremely comfortable!
I took these pants on a trek through Peru and could not have been more pleased with them. I hiked and climbed and walked many miles. These move and stretch. They are light yet kept me warm enough. I highly recommend them.
