two friction flats in three months :(

I've removed these from my Tern Quick Haul cargo bike after getting two friction flats on my rear tire after installing three months ago. Never got a friction flat on the front tire but, dang, I bought these liners to prevent flats - not give me flat tires! I might try another brand since the tires alone are also prone to punctures.
