Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny Have used them twice so far in light snow and 30 degree temps. and they are very warm even with thin cycling socks. My feet tend to get cold quickly so I was very impressed how toasty my feet were after two hours of riding. The fit is also incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for winter riding boots in cold climates. I have never written a review before on a product but felt compelled to do so after mountain biking in these boots. They are a superior product!!

Is this the 2016 model or the improved 2017 model?

How stiff are these boots? I'm just wondering if they would work for a day of hiking through the mountains on foot in-between fat biking.

Asked by: hman0217
These boots are fairy stiff, but do have some flex to them. They will do fine for shorter hikes in the snow.

How does the sizing compare to your cycling shoes? Do you need to factor in thick socks?

Asked by: astrattman
We recommend ordering your normal shoe size that you would order in cycling shoes. These boots are very warm so you may not need to wear a thick sock, but you can size up if you are planning on wearing thick winter socks.

The description seems to be oriented towards fat-bike riding. I'm not sure why. Is there any reason they would not be well suited towards cold bike commuting days? For example are they not flexible enough? Any concerns for commuting?

Asked by: Backcountry Skier
These boots could definitely be used for cold weather bike commuting days. They were designed for fat bike riding in the snow, but they do work for commuting as well.
