Rated 3 out of 5 by from One Star per Year I rated the latches with one star per year of performance. The originals (both) lasted three years before completely breaking apart. Replacement was easy but as with everything Yeti, costly. As for the actual cooler I can't wait to get rid of it! I run a high end charter business and the Yeti has permanent black spots that no amount of cleaning will remove. While the Yeti is better than some less expensive coolers it's not as good as one would expect for the price. A 20# bag of ice fills the cooler, (Tundra 35), and lasts about 48 hours, less if I need to open it more or if the cooler was empty of ice when the new ice was added.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Latches not covered? REALLY? I have a 105 that is incredible and it should be ..but the latch just pulled apart..and the seal dropped out about a month after getting it.. I cannot believe you do not warranty these at the price you charge to have the best cooler..these should have lifetime product warranty and available service at your retailers...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Expensive for Replacement Every couple of years I find myself having to replace the latches. You would think Yeti would figure out how to either make a more durable latch or provide a more cost effective replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Latch only lasted 3 years when it just broke from normal use. It is also very expensive for a rubber latch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Factory latches Had to buy new latches for my Tubdra 45. Factory rubber latches cracked and broke and were only 5 mths old. Hope new ones last longer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yeti latch failure I have a Yeti 65 quart that is approx. 3 years old. I was disappointed when one of the rubber T latches broke and I could not find one locally. Please place your parts in stores that sell your products. The website video on how to replace the part was very helpful. Love my Yeti. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Latches Very easy to install. Price is high for the cost of the cooler. I have had the cooler in the back of my truck for a year and the latches have dry rotted already. Yeti should warranty these latches. Tough enough for a grizzly bear as long as he does not touch the latches.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Latches broke at the ball about 1 month apart after being put through the ringer for 4 years. Given the abuse I'm ok with 4 years. Problem I have is the latch replacement instructional video is shown using a nice "new" real life after 4 years the pin doesn't just slide out nice and easy. The pins were extremely hard to remove and the heads wound up getting mangled and the cooler gouged from all the prying it took to pull them. Did eventually get them out and got the latches installed, but I hope these last forever because I don't think the pins are coming out again.
