KEEPING IT COOL

I live in the desert and having cool water on the first sip is nice. This tube keeps it that way. It's not ice cold but definitely cooler than not having the insulated tube. Even at 100 F I have been happy.

Does the Job

Does what its supposed to do and that's keep your water that's in the tube from warming up. Does it well, fits my older model bladder just fine no leaks.

Great addition to my Camelbak set up

I recently purchased the insulated tube for my Camelbak set up, as it wasn’t available some years ago when I first purchased my Camelbak items. I am an avid motorcyclist and ride cross the country during the summer. I have an insulated cooler that I store the reservoirs in and run the drinking tube out through a port, and up to my helmet so I can drink as I ride. The insulated tube has made a big difference in keeping the water cool from the cooler to the bite valve near my helmet. Great addition to my set up and the Camelbak product line!!!

Keeps water in the tube from heating up

I bought these to keep water in the tube from heating up on hikes. Works great! I use it on my older annidote 70oz bladder. Doesn't say it fits but it does with no problems

Bulky and unmanueverable. Not convinced

Bulky and unmanueverable yet I'm not convinced that it will keep the water from freezing while skiing. I currently use it on my MTB specific camelbak. I far prefer the original hose so far for summer riding. I need to really twist this one around to get the mouthpiece in a place that I can drink through. I may send it back.

Tube and spout.

Very good. Excellent. I used it today on Saturday March 25th, 2023, on my back country snowshoe hike at Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, Vermont. It worked well. It did its job. Water in the tube didn't freeze up. I was able to drink from it. No problem at all. Great craftsmanship.

Works great!

This works!! I’ve been winter hiking with an uninsulated tube and had the line freeze even though I blew out the water after drinking. That makes for a tough day on the trails. This hose didn’t freeze and I was able to drink whenever I wanted. Yay!

Works with Antidote system

I needed to replace the tube for my Antidote bladder. The Crux hose fits perfectly in the Antidote quick link. This tube is longer than the Antidote tube, though I suppose I could cut it down, if I really wanted to.

Perfectly interchangeable.

Use this with a 100ml bladder and love being able to switch back and forth between seasons. Easy to snap on/off, love the new water valve on the bite.

Better than the normal tube

I like that it delivers more water than the smaller, original tube, but the foam insulation isn't quite thick enough to keep the liquid inside the tube cold. It does keep it cooler than the uninsulated tube, but not cold.
