Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and efficient I picked this pack up on a whim about 4 months ago. I had a camelbak from years ago that only carried a reservoir. I was looking for an in between size of that and my 60 L pack for backpacking. This is perfect for you single day trips. I love all the different pockets in it and accessibility. The waist strap keeps most the weight off of your shoulders which is nice. I use this bag for both work and day treks into the mountains it holds up well. I work as an EMT, there is plenty pf room for gear, snacks and all that I need for my long shifts. It is a comfortable pack for hiking, I love the slats that keep the bulk of the pack directly of your back, to allow for air flow so you dont get to gross when hiking. My only qual is when you have a full resevoir, you cannot fit alot of items in to the main large compartment. But there is still plenty of storage in the other pockets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from maybe too many pockets Because of the number of pockets, it is a little heavier. Putting the water in its own pocket isolates it if there is a spill, but it also seems more difficult to load it. Comfortable ride though.
