It's a good product.
It's a good product. I'm satisfied with both delivery and product.
Pretty disappointed at the finsh quality...
Just bought this little guy since it has raving reviwes and meets all my needs in terms of weight, options, etc. but... I was surprised to see the chrome ring around the front light scratched up/peeling. I took it back thinking I might have accidentally got a used or returned one but they were all like that. You definitely would expect a bit more from such a highly rated product at it’s price point. Also you can notice dust particals behind the main body, on the lantern part which doesn’t bug me too much but definitely unexpected. Everything else seems to work good so far bit makes you wonder a bit how the internal parts will perform in the long run if the external parts are shoddy.
On/Off Switch
I have purchased many Goal Zero products and love them. Except for this one. It has wonderful features and is a great size. BUT the on/off is too difficult. I am trying to decide if I should return or give away. I can only work the switch with my right thumb (it is strongest), but only some of the time. I am debating if I can use some tool and attach on string to keep with the light. Doing that defeats the utility of the tool. I did read the reviews prior to purchase and noticed the complaints about the switch. How could the switch be that bad? It is. I do not have arthritis and keep my nails short but still I can not work the switch.
Great little package of light
I have purchased this for the many camping trips that I go on with my boy scout son. I primarily use it as a flash light and lantern in my tent, it works great, bright flash light and a super bright lantern feature. I use the low power lantern for general use. I feel the battery is great and lasts all weekend long. No issues other than the on off button is a bit small and hard to find in the dark, it would be beneficial with a larger more defined button. the flip out usb portion for recharging is easy to use. The bail on the top is easy to clip to a small carabiner. all in all a great reasonably priced product.
I bought a good product at a good price
I really like that one. But it's a new product and the finish is not good. There's a scratch. And I'm satisfied with the good price. Have a prosperous business. I'll buy it again next time.
One of my favorite EDC items.
I really enjoy using the Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro Flash. I appreciate all of the engineering that has gone into this light. The best features is that all 3 modes are dimmable and the lantern mode lets you use 2 or 4 LED lights depending on your preference. I also like the 4 blue LEDs showing the remaining charge level. I find the switch to be easy to find & switch on even in the dark. This is an Awesome Light and love the recharging feature. I have several Goal Zero products that serve me very well and have never let me down. This light is with me all the time.
good lantern It's small, but it has excellent per
very good That's a great lantern.
Love These Lights
I've lived in a minivan for years. Always have two of these lights and they work perfectly and have different levels of light. If I leave them on just half light they last most of the night in the winter time when I'm going to leave them. one on for hours. This is just just a replacement for one I had for about 2 years that was wearing out. Lithium batteries can only be charged so many times. But I think for the amount of money that they cost and how well they perform they are fabulous for my situation. They would be great for tent camping because they are so small.
Good idea
I really like the idea of this. Having a small lantern/flashlight that charges via USB and doesn't need a cable is great. I took it on a 4 day camping trip and found that every time I wanted to turn it on I had trouble finding the power button by feel. I do not like where it is placed and I struggled every time. It was a big problem in the middle of the night in the dark when I needed to get out of my tent as fast as possible and had to struggle to turn it on for much too long. My other issue is the lantern. I use the lantern more than the flashlight and found the dimmer setting to be too harsh. I wish there was a way to diffuse the light, maybe a sleeve to pull over it or something. Good idea, but the button issue makes this a no go for me.
Nice warm white tint. Horrible button.
Nice little lantern. The top light (flashlight) is actually 84CRI. The downlight is 72.9CRI but the tint is very pleasant, slightly pinkish warm. Runs very long duration. Only drawback is the button is so difficult to press. I took measurements with a spectrometer and got these results: Flashlight CCT: 3130K DUV: 0.0033 Ra (CRI): 84.4 R9: 14.2 Rf: 85 Rg: 95 Downlights: CCT: 3092K DUV: -0.0051 Ra (CRI): 72.9 R9: -20.2 Rf: 70 Rg: 96
