Yes , I recommend this product
I bought this for canyoneering because of how well it packs down. incredibly fast and easy to put on. however, I usually stuffed a hanker chief between the rear strap and my back because it would bruise otherwise. I'd imagine this would be perfect for general mountaineering when you have a few more layers of clothing and you aren't rappelling as often. also, don't get this for trad climbing or anything like that unless you're carrying your rack on a sling (there's not enough space to put a ton of gear).

I would recommend this harness for glacier travel and general mountaineering. Packs down real well and is pretty comfortable with bulky clothes and a pack.

Great mountaineering harness

Such a better harness than it’s main competitor for mountaineering! Unlike the BD, these buckles don’t self tighten when wet and lock you in. Lightweight, easy to put on around other gear.
