Water proof comfortable!!
So my husband and I have fallen in love with Forsakes comfort and style. We were invited to a local NFL game where I a)knew I’d be standing all day and b)knew it would be rainy all day. I had knee surgery in May and was on my feet for 10 hours the previous day...so wearing something comfortable was Uber important! We looked at the forecast and it was 90% rain., My Foresakes were the only remotely waterproof shoes I owned. One amazing win and hours and 4.5” of rain later...I am happy to report my feet are dry and warm and so are my husbands! We truly are Forsake’rs for life

I absolutely love these boots. The fit, the colors, the traction, the style, the warmth! They are my favorite boots because they look good and are super functional for my active lifestyle. My mom and I both have a pair that we are consistently matching in because they are so awesome
Great in Snow
Admittedly, I bought this shoe for looks and to have a good non technical hiking boot for town. This is a great winter boot. The snow and rain seem to roll right off. They are also very warm (I wore them with ski socks). How comfortable they are may be debatable. They dug into my ankles a bit but that can be resolved by taking the laces down a notch or two. I wouldn’t compare them to a hiking boot at a higher price point in terms of comfort ability. While I wouldn’t wear these on a technical or even moderate hike, you can’t go wrong in purchasing them for a good looking winter boot. Prepare to receive many compliments.
AMAZING boots- but they run big
I've had these boots for a few months now and I absolutely love them! I wear them just about every day, from muddy hiking trails to the snowy ski area parking lot to the brew pub. My only complaint is that they run big! I wear a size 7 in just about everything, and when I tried on the 7's for this boot I was swimming in them. Even the 6.5 is slightly big. The boots are very well insulated so I'm a little concerned that my feet will be super sweaty when I hike in them this summer since I have to wear thick socks for the fit to be just right. I would try a size 6 but REI seems to always be out of that size in black. :( Overall an amazing shoe, but they do run big.

I primarily bought these boots for a trip to Iceland in December - I needed something waterproof, good grip and warm but I live in Los Angeles so I also wanted to get a pair of boots that were versatile in different climates. The Forsake Patch are great - I barely broke them in before wearing them all day walking around Iceland and they were so comfortable. I've since also worn them hiking in LA, in the rain, through a stream (no leaks) and would honestly wear them as an every day boot too - they're casual and simply designed so I don't feel like I'm wearing a huge pair of functional walking boots. Definitely recommend!
LOVE
I am in love with these boots after hiking in them all over Sedona AZ. Day 1 they felt a little tight in the left toe but by next day they were nicely broken in. I'm a hiking newbie but with every step up and down some pretty treacherous rocks, I felt extremely sure footed. I am so happy with this purchase. My feet stayed dry and warm despite a couple rainy days. The grip and ankle support were amazing. I can't compare to other boots as these are my first for hiking but they were rock solid and impressive.
Used in Iceland
These shoes were perfect!!! Used it everyday for my 10 day stay in Iceland. I didn't have any problems on any of the terrains (unless instructed to wear crampons with them - still no problem). Most of my experience was spent hiking on glaciers, snow, volcanic ash, etc. for about 3-4 hrs. My feet were kept dry and warm. My feet measures exactly at 6.5 and after reading the reviews that it ran big, I ordered 6.5 in black. It's roomy. Even when I had my thick wool socks on, my toes had enough room to wiggle and never once felt cramped. Often with shoes, my problem is that they aren't wide enough. But not in this case. Very happy with this purchase!
Function meets fashion
Took my new kicks right out of the box to put them to work in Glacier Nat'l Park for a day of hiking followed by a evening at the brewpub. There was little need to break these in - they kept my feet comfortable, dry and looking good despite miles, creek crossings and beers consumed. Us ladies tend to overpack - but I love not having to pack two pairs of shoes for trips - it really saves room in the duffel.

I’m amazed by all the great reviews these boots have... was everyone paid or something? I bought these because I work indoors at a ski resort and wear boots all the time but needed something lighter. They are cute and stylish so i kept them, but they are not comfortable. I can’t imagine walking around town for more than a mile in these, let alone hiking. They are also not waterproof whatsoever. My feet were wet from walking through a snowy parking lot, just after I bought them. If you’re looking for a hiking boot, go far far away from these. if you’re looking for some nonfunctional boots but want to look like maybe you’re outdoorsy, these are the ones.
best of both worlds
I just got these hikers about a week ago and I haven't taken them off! I love the fun stylish look for everyday wear, and was pleasantly surprised by how well they performed up in the mountains. They even kept my feet dry when I slipped and feel into a stream crossing! So glad they are finally making women's shoes.
