MSR night glow zipper pulls
With a few hours of ambient light, they glow brightly enough to be easily seen, especially once eyes adjust to darkness. A few seconds of light exposure from headlamp or small flashlight will make them glow quite brightly for at least a short time while eyes adjust. The cord size/length makes it easy to attach to zippers, and the size and texture of the tabs make them easy to grip even with gloves or cold wet hands.

Not as bright as I'd hoped
They definitely work, but they aren't bright enough to really be helpful. But they are still nifty and I don't regret taking a chance with them.

Simple Device Makes Life Easier

Bought to add to my hammock and sleeping bag zippers. At night it makes the zippers easier to find and operate. Likes so much I bought a few more. Save money and buy the non-glow in the dark version for items that you don’t need to access at night.

Will keep trying. Location may be key.

Maybe just didnt get that much direct sunlight. It was under the rainfly. So did not really stand out at nite. But a good additional tad on the actual zipper.

Much more useful than imagined.

I can now find my phone in the dark; no more fumbling in the tent/camper/bedroom etc. Not that I'm one to ever have to fumble in the bedroom, tent, camper. Heehee. Quality nylon mini-rope straps, well sunk into the small MSR tag. Also helps to keep my phone from slipping away, off the couch, out of my pocket, onto the floor, over the cliff, etc. A useful and practical item indeed.

Find your fly in the dark.

Ever come back to your tent after dark, and just need to find that rain fly zipper pull without firing up your headlamp - done. These simple little glow in the dark zipper pulls light your way in and out of the tent after dark. I put one per pair of zipper pulls (no need to light both) - easy to install.

do not hold luminosity and wire a black logo?

I found out I reached for this in the middle of the night. I cannot see the tags. I find the bright orange ones on a black background of the bag to work much better. The other issue is if they’re supposed to show some light, why cover the faces with opaque black logos, which block part of the light?

So of the best things are so simple!

Such a simple little thing but works so well. Not being one who wants to put a light on when caught short in the middle of the night, convincing myself that I'm still asleep & not wanting to disturb anyone if you have company. These little zip pulls work brilliantly to guide you out of the tent.

Quality at a price

I bought these as an upgrade to the family tent. They’re small enough to fit on most zippers and they’re good quality. They’re priced a bit too high in my opinion. I only bought them because they were on sale. For the price I think they should come in packs of 3-4.
