Finger grips falling off after less than a month
I loved these gloves at first, they kept my fingers warm (I have Raynaud's) when driving or brushing snow off my car. Unfortunately, the finger grips are falling off after wearing them for only a few weeks. Other than that, they seemed great. I'm pretty disappointed.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE GLOVES
I wear these for my daughters soccer games soccer games. These work great whether it’s really cold or just 50’s with a north breeze. You could even use a liner with them. I bought larges because I have long fingers but I think I could have used a medium. I have had mine for a year and they have held up well.
Great but cheap gloves
The gloves felt durable but tore easily.
Fabulous, warm gloves
I've been using these gloves for years and love them! I have developed Raynard's (still relatively mild case) and these gloves keep my hands warm even in extreme temps. I hike year round in the NH Whites and usually wear them alone or coupled with the exterior shell of OR's Alti mitts on the ascents. They are not waterproof so I generally change gloves at the summit (I carry an extra pair of them). I also have the wool mittens for when gloves aren't enough. My gloves get heavy, tough use so my one caveat is that they basically only last one hiking season then they get "downgraded" to everyday gloves. I love them so much that I don't mind the annual purchase.
Best wool gloves ever
These are the only wool gloves that have made it through a season of mushing without falling apart. They have withstood countless times of clipping and unclipping dogs to and from tug and neck lines, leashes and tie-out lines. That's what usually kills knit gloves. They have also survived grabbing dogs by their collars and harnesses, tugging on lines and ropes, and maneuvering the sled. They are warm enough to do these things at 0 F and they are thin enough to easily fit under mittens. I will definitely buy more of these.
Warm Hands, Warm Heart
Okay, excusing the lame review title, stick with me here: these gloves are great. My hands are warm, my fingers are flexible, and I can answer calls and tap around in apps if necessary. Texting is okay too - but if you've got a lot to say, it's a bit harder to move quickly while wearing them (that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise though.) Definitely pay attention to the sizing, I was surprised that I was a S, but I'm glad I measured before I ordered. I wore them hiking on the AT in ~20F degree weather, and I was quite content. No problem gripping my poles, or pulling out my phone when I wanted to check our location. I will be bringing these on my Kili climb, and it's gonna be a good time with toasty hands, I'm sure.
Great gloves
I needed a not-so-bulky pair of gloves that I could wear on my commute and easily stuff into my bag when I didn't need them. These are fantastic for that job. These are the first "tech-friendly" gloves I've owned that are actually precise enough to type a text message. The only downside is that high wind slices right through them, so these won't work for a blustery hike below freezing. My measurements are right between small and medium, and I'm glad I went with the small. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Alright
I live in New Hampshire and have used these for the past two winters. If you’re looking for gloves for sun zero temperatures these aren’t great for that. The touch sensing is also very finicky and not great but gets the job done. There’s also been lots of pilling. They don’t perform well in the snow since they soak through very fast. If you need gloves for moderate use and moderate cold these are fine but if you’re looking for a daily use glove in very cold temperatures I would not recommend
Solid glove choice!
These gloves keep you warm and dry while allowing you to have full mobility with your fingers. There are even little rubber grips to help you out. I haven't tested them with rain yet, but they keep snow out and hands warm. The fingertips designed to work on touch screens work much better than I expected; I'm very impressed. The gloves also have little loops where your wrists go to let you pull them on quickly and easily. The one downside: they love to collect dog hair!
Not amazing but not totally disappointed
These gloves are great for mild conditions. My hands got way too cold wearing them in the winters here in Michigan. They are fine for above freezing temps. My boyfriend used them and thought they were great but he has larger hands than I do and generates more body heat in general. I also found that they're no good for snow because when they get wet they will stay wet for hours. Definitely more of a fall glove. I love them for driving and going on walks with my dog. Dexterity is nice but the touch screen finger tips are finicky.
