Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cozy jacket for cool days I've been wearing this jacket a lot these early spring days. The color is pretty and zip pockets are deep and warm. I'm 5'8" and the sleeves could be a tad bit longer or have a thumb notch, but as I have an underlayer, this isn't a big issue. This jacket is fluffy and thick, so it takes up a bit of room in your case if you travel with it, but looks SO cute with a colorful scarf if you're in the city, and is perfect for hiking too. Cut is for a more feminine figure, although busty girls may want/need to size up as its smaller through the bust and more generous around the hips. Fabric appears to wear well and doesn't show dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit! Bought an XS for my petite 12 year old daughter (just a smidge over 4'11" & 95 pounds) and it fits perfect. She loves it. Not sure why a short and small 12 year old has to shop in the womens department but that's another rant for another time. The "cobbled" fleece is great at not attracting lint, pet hair, fuzz, etc. as traditional fleece does. Our only wish is that this jacket had thumbholes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and warm I would give this jacket a five if it were a bit looser. It is very snug. However, I love the color, the warmth, the feel of the fabric and it looks good. It is a perfect weight for Pacific NW hiking in the fall and spring. I wore it also in Mesa Verde National Park for a day hike on a cool day and it was very comfortable under my pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering Fit and Great Pockets I now have two Alpenfire Fleece Jackets and love them for the following reasons: Very Flattering fit - they accentuate the waist and lengthen the torso; they do not look frumpy (I generally wear mine zipped down a bit and the collar lays nicely). Very useful pocket design and lots of pockets! The two front zippered pockets are very deep, as are the two interior pockets - this gives me secure places for phone, sunglasses, reading glasses, keys, and snacks. A pint bottle of water fits easily into the front zippered pockets, if needed (this is awesome utility and I thank the designers). I haven't used the arm pocket yet, but like that it's there. The arms are nice and long so my wrists don't get cold (I'm just under 5'7", wear size Small, and the sleeves cover my knuckles). The zippers are of excellent quality, engage easily, and zip securely. The jacket is nice and warm (warmer than my other fleece jackets). The sizing might run slightly small which for me is a benefit. I very much like the fabric as it's not a magnet for animal fur. I have the Graystone/pink logo and the Mineral Water/ice blue logo and love them both. This is my go-to jacket. Many thanks to REI for this great design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Warm Fleece I bought this for an upcoming trip to Yellowstone and I think it will work very well for general walking around and or hiking in early June. I'm 5'5.5" and about 115lbs, give or take, 32B or 32D depending on if I'm nursing or not, with broad shoulders and the medium fit very comfortably. I'm glad I listened to the other reviewers as far as sizing goes. I think the small would have been too snug for my comfort level, particularly in the armpits. The arms themselves are a little wide and long for someone of my frame, coming down past my knuckles, but I am overall very happy with my purchase. Especially considering I got the jacket for only $33. Love the raglan sleeves. They may look a little more bulky than a set in sleeve, but I find they have WAY better range of motion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug Fit I normally wear a small in Patagonia products so I ordered this in a small as well. It was way too snug, and had to return. I'm 5'6" 120 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. Love the pockets and color, will be great for spring/fall camping trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket! I first purchased the Gray-colored jacket and loved it, the sleeves are plenty long, which is usually the problem I have. I then purchased the black and donated all my other black fleece jackets- this is my go-to. I have worn it everywhere, hiking, as a base layer skiing, and as a spring jacket. I hope the Greystone color comes back!!

the outer face of this jacket is describes as  "Cobbled". Is the texture simlair to tradition fleece, or is it more like a smooth faced item? i.e. well it attract hair, fuzz, etc or shed it? thanks

Asked by: nonameplz
It doesn't act the same as traditional fleece "attraction-wise". My daughter has been wearing hers around horses, hay and dogs and it looks great! Cobbled is the way to go!
