Believe it or not, these are great for transporting a harpsichord in its canvas cover!
Functional one handed use has been difficult to achieve in the past. Welcome to the future where Petzl's brilliant engineers have taken this product to the next level of functionality. True one handed security for use in the left or right hand.
Extremely easy to use locking carabiner. Bought two to use for building anchors. The twist to lock is a super smooth action and has made for super easy set up with all the peace of mind needed in a locker.
Bought one a year ago. I love it so much, I bought another one.
This Twistlock is a great compromise. I find that the screw locks are not as predictable, sometimes not fully disengaged so will not open when wanted. Also, if you get tired or lazy you stop locking the screw locks. The Triact-Lock is harder to open in some cases making it more difficult than the Twistlock. So I use the Twistlock for most of my SRT carabiners.
Great twist and lock carabiner for belay. Good for gri gri and Atc.
I bought this to use with my Petzel zig zag and it works great.
This is my favorite carabiner, hands down. Once you get used to the twistlock mechanism, it's very easy to use. The carabiner itself is just the right size and feels very strong. I always use these with my grigri so I never forget to tighten up the lock.
I bought this to use as part of a canyon quickdraw. It has worked great for rigging a figure 8 contingency block.
So smooth, doesn’t get caught, super reliable. Can’t go wrong with a Petzl carabiner!
