Great when paired with chest harness
We just purchased the Petzl Macchu sit harness and chest harness for our 2 1/2 year old girl. She is big for her age at 38" and 35 lbs. We tried on the Edelrid one piece and it was just too big. I had my brain set on a one piece so I was planning on getting on Amazon to purchase the super adjustable CAMP model. Thankfully, a helpful clerk in store convinced us to try this two piece set up and if fit wonderfully! I went ahead and tied a piece of tubular webbing between the waist belt and the back of the chest harness that connects them when she is wearing them. This effectively makes it a one piece harness and allows for a lot of adjustment. So, if you are looking for a good harness to take your toddler out, don't discount this setup, it really is high quality and it fits very nicely.
Excellent for little kids
I bought this for my four-year-old son so he won't have to use the gym's kids' harnesses, which are really hard to adjust to a waist that small. This harness fits his 40" tall, 35.5 lb. body just right, when it's tightened all the way. The good news is that this will fit him until he's 12 or so, or when it wears out. I bought it on sale, but it's worth the price even when it's not.
Great harness for all kids
I bought about a month ago because my kids wanted to start climbing with me. I generally only take one at a time. This harness works with all my kids age 4 - 10. They think it's comfortable and I like the green accentuated belay loop. It helps to have everything a different color when teaching the kids. Great product!
Adjustable fit
We have taken our two year old daughter climbing with us twice since purchasing this product. When used in conjunction with the Petzl Macchu shoulder strap it keeps her safe when suspended from a rope. It is easy to adjust the size, and there is plenty of room for her grow!
Fit the 11 year old and the 5 year old.
This harness worked great. I brought this to take the nephews climbing. I was a little worried about the harness fitting the 5 year old because his waist was 2 inches smaller than what the tag recommended. In the long run it fit the 5 year old fine.
