My daughter and I each bought a pair of the Merrell All Out Blaze WP hiking boots for summer treks. We have been enjoying hiking in them; they are light weight, good traction, comfortable, waterproof is a must in the NW, and a good price. We both found that we needed 1/2 size larger than we wear in other boots, like LOWA.
These are the best shoes I have worn. Lightweight and yet good grip on rocky hikes like Maple Pass. I have had them for one year and I am going to buy another pair before they discontinue.
This is exactly the show I want, however it runs very big. I own a previous version of this shoe, 2015 make I think - It's a 10.5 and I've always thought it just a bit small. So I ordered a 10.5 and an 11, and they are both very big, too big. Will try for a 10.
always have thought of Merrell as an excellent brand, unfortunetly these hiking shoes just don’t fit well. they are the right size but my feet always ache after hiking in them. probably the worst hiking shoes i’ve ever bought to date. left toes go numb in them and just generally feel heavy and uncomfortable.
These shoes were comfortable regarding fit and support. I was expecting more mesh and less leather around the toe box. I found them to be too hot to wear during the summer.
Comfortable straight out of the box. The colors are much more subtle than the pictures, which I appreciate. The sole is gray and the sides are a soft medium blue and soft turquoise, not cobalt and bright blue. Great arch support, cushioned heel, leather toe box seems like it will last a long time. Usually wear a 7 in regular shoes but have found 7.5 in Merrells work best for me.
I did not get anything that looked like the item I ordered and the size was too big
