Hi, These were bought for my wife, but I have been using Rab clothing for over 25 years when I used to wear technical climbing equipment before it became trendy. We have both Men's and Women's and the sizes come up true to form, the gloves are extremely warm, and if used in extreme cold the snow has no effect obviously. I did see comments from someone else saying they were not waterproof, yeah no surprise Sherlock they are not Sealskinz or like my mountaineering gloves. Totally recommend and think they are good value for money.
It's a very nice looking glove but in terms of warmth is no different to any other glove I have bought. What swayed me was a review saying how they had Raynaud's syndrome and these gloves were the best they had tried. I also suffer from this. I also bought a pair of liner gloves. but they made absolutely no difference. It was a considered purchase so I'm so disappointed. I bought the small size but even with a liner glove they were too big for me.
I find these gloves really comfy and warm, I’ve used them for walking and with my mountain bike. Even when they get wet I find they still keep my hands warm. What I would say though is that I’m usually an XL in gloves but found that a L size fits me perfectly. I also like the look and the quality is second to none. That said I’ve never had an issue with any of my Rab clothing.
It will not keep your fingers warm for more than 30 minutes on a clear 32C without any winds. I used it for running and was in pain after an hour into my run. It fits very well and looks great, but is does not do what it is supposed to do - keep the cold out of my fingers.
Speedy delivery. I bought them for my husband who suffers with Raynaud's Disease. His hands are prone to get incredibly cold very easy but he said they are the best gloves he's had; really warm and waterproof, and also a comfortable fit but slightly on the small size.
The gloves look lovely and are very warm however within 2 weeks of owning them the seams have split in three places along fingers for no clear reason. Very disappointing for gloves at this price. The iphone touch pads are a little hit and miss too which is a shame.
Loving my new gloves! Sizing guide was great and the gloves fit perfectly. Leather palms feel hard wearing and give great grip. Excellent quality and I was slightly disappointed when the weather warmed up and I didn’t need to wear them.
I was down to these as my last pair of gloves whilst winter mountaineering on Bow Fell, during bad weather. These got me off the mountain with my hands in good order, despite the gloves being saturated with water. Good kit.
These gloves look great. Nice contrast of grey and leather. Good grip with useful touch screen finger pad. Good size, covers full wrist. Warm enough for general outdoor use. Not tested the water resistance yet.
Great gloves, lovely and warm and with some practice can operate most of the smart phone touch screen functions. Haven’t tested the rain resistance of the gloves yet, but they weren’t bought for that function.
