Zero drop, nice rounded toe box.
I saw these on display in store. They are men’s shoes, I can’t usually get my size (7 1/2 men’s) at REI, they only stock down to 8. Turns out the 8 in this shoe fits perfectly, I tried on the display. I have worn these to work (on my feet in a warehouse) and walking the dogs and love them. Nice round toe area nice and snug due to the mid height. I would say these have a zero drop which is something I’ve been enjoying in other brands lately. I have had Merrill’s in the past that I didn’t end up loving (Moab ventilation and also the slip on mock ).
Truly Waterproof!
I play early morning rounds of speed golf, and these sneakers offer solid grip AND keep my feet dry. I have bought two other brands of low profile, waterproof trail shoes from REI, only to find my socks are soaked after each round. Possibly it’s the high-top profile of these Merrell Wrapt Mids? I dunno, but my feet are finally happy. Regarding dryness and grip, the same holds true for my morning walks through the woods and fields with my dogs…so pleased.
