The best shorts. More colors please because they’re awesome! First off, the pocket bags are made of the same material as the shorts, NOT MESH! Hallelujah, finally. I am a dog trainer and nearly always have dog treats in my pockets. When the pocket bags are mesh, I wind up with dog treat crumbs inside my shorts. That is not pleasant. I also have horses and am working in my barn daily and when I am picking up hay or cleaning stalls, there is always bits of stuff flying through the air it gets in my pockets, and if the pocket bags are mesh, that all winds up inside my shorts. These pockets are plenty big-like they are amazing-and extremely functional, but also normal material. They are the best pockets ever. The waistband is extremely comfortable, but also very stable, even if dogs are jumping up on me I don’t ever feel like they’re going to pull my shorts down which can happen with elastic waistbands sometimes. When I am working in the barn, which is pretty labor-intensive, they hold up great, they are very sturdy and no matter how dirty I get them they wash out beautifully. The length works really well even on my shorter legs, I don’t feel like they’re so short that I’m showing too much, but I don’t feel like my whole leg is covered either. They are fitted, so I don’t feel like they are flopping around while I’m moving, but they are not tight by any means. I can still run, hike, work in the barn, train my dogs, and lift weights in them without feeling restricted at all. They have held up to multiple washings and a few times when I have had to hand wash them and hang them outside to dry they dried really quickly. it is extremely hot and humid often where I live and they breathe really well. They are also really cute and look good on which is a big plus but not generally something I find with shorts that are also this functional. I really wish there were more colors, especially like black or other dark colors. I have several pairs of granite and one of the gray blue and one of the Evergreen. or whatever that green color is called. I just wish there were more dark options. please Prana, do not change these shorts or get rid of them! Just maybe give us some more colors.

Have these in 5 colors now, they are amazing! I like the wide waist band, it's both comfy and flattering. The fabric is soft, doesn't hold wrinkles too badly after being crumpled in a pack, and dries pretty quickly. The hidden zipper pocket is an awesome feature, it's surprisingly large- i was expecting it to be sized to hold a car key/ fob, but there is another spot for a kay hidden in the waistband at the back. The left side zipper pocket is actually big enough to squeeze my phone into. (I wouldn't want to walk around with it in there, it's a tight fit, but because the fabric stretches a bit, I can zip my phone in during short scrambles and not worry about it slipping out and falling to its death!)

These are just a tad bit shorter than I would typically prefer, maybe an inch or inch and a half longer and these would be absolute perfection!! Perfect depth and positioning on pockets, and number of pockets - one even has a zipper which is a very smart addition. The materials are excellent and hit all the marks on quality, lightweight, texture, roominess, flexibility, and comfort. These are some of my very favorite shorts because they check so many boxes for me... bought a few pairs and definitely will be ordering more down the road. But I'll be crossing my fingers for Prana to add one pair that's a middle of the road length between this shorter 5" inseam and the Koen 9" inseam. A Koen short with 6.5" inseam would be absolute perfection. (please consider making these, and let me know if you do! I'll buy 10 pairs!!) one pair that's in between lengths

These are very comfortable and lightweight. I use them to workout in. I like the length too - not too long but not too short. My one concern is how quickly they stretch out and how the material will hold up over time. So far, so good, but with the light weight material I am not sure. Also, there is a little bulge where the zipper pocket is - I think you could remove that for a more flattering silhouette.

I adore these shorts! I bought them since I needed a slightly longer pair of shorts for climbing, and they fit perfectly under my harness. Super soft, comfy, and stretchy. There is also a zippered pocket perfect for holding a key, cash, or a couple cards. The perfect light weight short for active pursuits. For reference, I wear a size 6/8 and the mediums fit great. :)

I absolutely LOVE these shorts! My favorite summer go-to. The inseam length is perfect; not too short, not too long (I'm 5'9", 170 lbs, athletic-curvy). The waist is the bomb; it is stretchy but sturdy; very flattering. The hidden zipper pocket is great for keys. I am in love with these! I just wish there were some more fun colors.

Nice shorts. Fit nicely in athletic butt and thigh. But pockets don't lay flat at the opening, which looks very strange. You can only sort of see this in one of the photos - (Juniper Green color). Exchanged a pair because I thought this was a manufacturing defect, but the replacement was just as bad.

I love these shorts. I will be buying them in Juniper once they restock in my size. The shorts are comfortable to wear while hiking and doing yoga. The fabric is breathable and allows for easy movement. The waistband is a major plus and also allows movement and comfort.

These are AWESOME shorts. The elastic waistband makes for a comfortable short, and the fabric itself makes for an even comfortable experience. I normally suffer from thigh chafing but not in these shorts! I just went back and ordered a second pair in another color.

Obsessed with these shorts - these are my 2nd pair. First are from Title Nine and wore them all summer so had to get a second. SO Lightweight and the wide elastic waistband is the chef’s kiss! Length is perfect for my 5’7” frame. Keep these winners around Prana!!
