Hard spots on the foot bed and heel
I really wanted to like these shoes as I love my Saucony Endorphin Pros and Rides for road running. The tread seemed like they would be grippy for the trail. I also like that they had color options that weren’t just white or light colored this season (really white for trail shoes?!? Trail shoes are getting dirty and muddy!) I wore them around the house for a day and for the amount of cushioning and foam on the shoe they should feel much softer. There was almost too much on the heel and Achilles that I was worried it would start to rub after a bit. It felt like there were hard spots right on the pressure points of the foot bed and they were starting to aggravate my plantar fasciitis. I’m glad I didn’t go run in them! Back in the box and I ended up returning. Like I said, these missed the mark for Saucony as I often wear and have liked the Ride road shoe.
Cushion
I wore these on a hike and trail run. Walking I wasn’t sure I would keep them running the trail run they were great. I could definitely feel the bounce and cushion and the sole is pretty thick. Toe box was wide enough but not super wide.
Great arch location….
I do like Saucony and where the arches hit my foot. I could use another 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length…..toes hitting the end of toe box.
