Great boot, not right fit for me

I wanted to love this boot--it is very well-constructed & sturdy/stiff which I was looking for as I often carry loads &/or am scrambling through scree. However it was almost too firm & I ended up w/toe & knee pain. Given, the knee pain is not solely the boots fault. I personally need a really snug fit through the ankle and found that for my narrow feet & unstable snkles this was not a fit for me. Will be a great boot for others though I'm sure!

Comfortable and supportive boot

I bought these after learning I have a congenital ankle issue that was causing pain. They’re comfortable and supportive. I was able to complete a 12 mile hike with no pain, even prior to getting the custom orthotics that my doctor said will help stabilize my ankles.
