Performance and comfort in the same shoe

I’ve had the aruma’s for a couple months now, and what I like most is the softness/sensitivity. I’ve always climbed in stiffer shoes, and wasn’t sure I’d like these at first. The softness allows them to really conform to the wall while smearing, either on volumes in the gym or in little indentations on the wall when outside and there aren’t any good footholds. They take a little effort to get on, but fit better than dragos or solutions, and I can wear them for a long session without any pain. I wear a 10.5 street shoe and the 8.5’s fit me perfect!

Soft Shoe, Steep Routes
Fantastic bouldering and sport climbing shoe. Super soft shoe, sensitive, super comfy. Excels on steep/overhung routes. I had to downsize more than other Tenaya shoes. I wear a US M's 9.5 in Tenaya Indalo and Oasi, and wear a US M's 8.5 in Aruma. It's a little tough to get my feet in at first, but they fit perfectly once they are seated in there.
