Sole disintegrated

I've had and loved my Spires for about 1 1/2 years. The treads are now separating from the sole in chunks. I have never seen this on any shoe. I'm just a day hiker so it's not from heavy duty backpacking. They are basically done for.

La Sportiva Womens Spire GTX Hiking shoes

I already did one of these reviews but will do it again. I bought these hoping for the same fit and quality as the Raptors I own. The quality appear great so don't want to make it sound like they fell apart, I wore them for a week on daily 4 mile easy hikes in my local forested park, the same hike I have done for years with my dog. I developed almost immediately on the left foot and inflammation of my metatarsal which has not been an issue for me before and I was wearing my orthotics in these shoes, after 4 days I developed bilateral shin splints and that is when I decided these were not the shoe for me. I don't like returning used gear but these were not inexpensive and you have to try them out and I did. I will stick with the Raptors but they are always sold out when I look.

Protect your feet

I just did the Havasu falls trail with this shoes, and exactly the reason why I was looking to protect the sole of my feet because of the rock to rock and pebbles trail. No bruising happening. This is one to keep.

Great trail shoes

I've been wearing these for several months now. I hike with dogs for a living and I love these shoes. So far have held up very well. I've definitely been in all terrain and they have been comfy, good traction and overall a good hiking shoe. I did order them 2 sizes to big and I've had to make them work but that was my fault. I went off my Sportiva boot size instead of the shoe size. Overall, highly recommend.

Love LaSportiva

I’ve had my eye on these for awhile. Because of the sale price I was finally able to get them. So far I’ve only worn them inside, but they seem just as nice as my other Lasportiva shoes that have been comfortable right out of the box. Will start using them as soon as the fall rains come in.

Amazing experience

Experience with checking out was superior. CJ at front went universal and beyond expectations. Would recommend membership at REI .

I love them, but I ordered the a bit too large.

Good comfortable shoes. Unfortunately I ordered them a bit too large. I guess I can wear thicker socks.
