Love this travel mug!

It’s a beautiful, well designed 40oz mug. It keeps drinks cold and I couldn’t be more pleased

Poorly designed lid, not useful to me

This has a lid that can never be completely closed. There is a hole in the middle of the lid for the two part silicone and plastic straw, but there is no stopper for the hole. So if you leave the straw in, the drink is open, and if you take the straw out, the drink is more open. I've never seen a tumbler lid that couldn't be closed. I plan to return this item. In the future, I'll probably only get water bottles from Hydro Flask and I'll get tumblers from companies that normally make tumblers.

Best Travel Mug

I bought this after the handle snapped off my Stanley mug. It is slightly lower profile, keeps ice all day, and the flexible straw that is centered on the lid is a huge improvement over the Stanley, where the lid orientation can affect whether the opening is correctly aligned with the handle. Overall I prefer this mug to the Stanley and Yeti for its comparable cold retention, better lid/straw design and lightweight/lower profile.

Perfect

I love this Hydroflask! The dark green color is beautiful, and I like the 40 oz size so I don’t have to refill too much throughout the day. The silicone straw makes it easy and comfortable to drink from. It is pretty heavy when filled, but that is to be expected with stainless steel and isn’t a big deal. The bottle even fits in my car cupholder since it has a tapered bottom.

nice

working outside and the bees and wasps were interested in going down the straw. pulled at a root and dirt sprayed all over the place, including cup. if it had a straw cover it would be a plus. but other than that I really like it. keeps things cold and i am surprised how much i refill it. stays put in my cup holder!

Nope

Was hoping this would match up to the ever popular stanley.... sadly, it's not even close. Not a fan of the silicone straw but more importantly, drinks just don't stay cold. I've seen a bunch of these showing up in Homegoods and Tj Maxx for $24.99 and marked down on top of that. Now we know why.

No complaints, great purchase

I have a 32 oz that is perfect for my needs - gym, sitting in traffic, working at my desk, binging shows in front of the TV, etc. I got a 40z for my friend's birthday as he drives for Uber full time and he loves that it helps him stay hydrated, easy to drink on-the-go, and he doesn't have to make stops at a drive-thru/gas station for liquids throughout the day. So easy to clean! no nooks or crannies I have to work extra hard to get into. A straw brush for the straw and regular sponge for the rest is more than enough. It's wonderfully splash-proof, i can dangle it from my hand as I walk and not worry about it leaking, I can lean it against the arm of my couch and not worry bout it leaking, etc. I also love the lupine color asit's very pretty and reminds me of a local wildflower, the lupine. On a hot day ice won't keep long but the drink does stay decently cold for hours, which is more than enough for my needs. I don't need ice cold, just cold enough to be refreshing and this accomplishes that very well.

Best Design for Straw Holders

My favorite thing about the Hydro Flask is the way that the straw attaches to the cap. This is so different from any other cup that I have owned. So glad that I purchased it.

Great on long drives!

I love how this cup sits in my cup holder perfectly, but still holds so much. Also, the lid can be switched with some of my other hydro flask lids that don't require a straw.

Not worth it

Does not keep ice for an extended period. Suction can be difficult without breaking the “seal” of the straw. Size is good, but the detriments outweigh that.
