Arc'teryx  Rush Bib Pants - Women's

For a backcountry specific bib, the Rush run far too warm on the uphill and are too tight to use the tigh pockets for a beacon or phone. In a size 6, the waist and shins are baggy but tighs and butt are far too tight and restrict movement. I’ve been finding the Alpha Hybrid pants to be far more appropriate for high output activities that also require some static moments. The mix of goretex in the front and gamma fabric on the back is perfect to dump heat. They are better articulated, have an excellent beacon pocket that is not too tight and easier to use with crampons as they are narrower than the rush and don’t snag

Great all around bib for touring. I used the transceiver pocket and my pulse dug into my ribs a little but other than that I didn't notice them at all throughout the day which to me means I like them. I appreciated the phone sleeve in the leg pocket. I am 5’4, 125lbs and the 4S was the perfect size for me. Last thing I will say is the side zip to pee is tricky to get back up as I have wide hips, so Arc’teryx please add a little room in that area so the pants aren’t a struggle to zip up in the cold and raise the transceiver pocket/investigate placement and we will have a perfect bib.

I can see the potential. Love how light weight it is. But I think these pants (and other arcteryx pants in general) are not meant for women with thighs and butt, which many female skiers have ample of. It is disproportionate to my height. I am 5'4 and 130lbs with muscular thighs and behind. Small upper body. I am likely a 10s but these are sold out in all colours (I wonder why...maybe because many of us come in this size). Please design pants for women with some weight in the bottom area without making us look frumpy. Dont even get me started on the awkward fit of the beta pants.

I am using these pants (I have 2 of them) mainly for resort skiing. They are the perfect fit! I love the fact that has a "short" bib (I find that with a full bib there is too much fabric and does not facilitate the layering). The full zip allows for ease of use (one must go to the bathroom during long days!). They are a very comfortable to wear in different weather conditions. In my case, I am sometimes bloated, and not having the pressure on my waist, it's one of the great advantages of these pants. I have also done ski hikes with them, and they have great breathability!

Using these for touring- upper bib breathability is poor, I eneded up soaked using my usual layering system. Legs are baggy, bum area fitted. I am 5'4, 125lbs and the 4S is perfect. Overall I like them but will probably shift them to more of a on-piste bib due to lack of breathability in the top. I reccomend changing the material out at the waist and chest area to a wool-blend, soft top.

Great pants, easily to skin up in, look flashy skiing down. Make sure to check the inseam and order the correct size! I’m 5’4” and ordered the short version and they are just a tiny bit longer than I would like. Bag/drag if I’m not wearing boots. With ski boots on they pool just a little on the top of my boots and once got caught in my bindings

Reviews suggested to size up bc they run small. I sized up but the waist w zipper was super tight. I could never where any layers under straps. The length was perfect. I am 5’3” 122 pounds . I ordered size 2 short. I ended up buying a different style , Sentinel Bib I’m size 4. Praying they aren’t too big .

I bought those pants size 4S which the usual size I had and aligned to the sizing chart. Notwithstanding the pants result too big in hip and I returned it. Could you please let me know if I should try 2S because the fitting is different to other pants or may be an error in the label? Thanks

With the opportunity to order the pants in the long version for women I finally have skipants that are long enough without being obliged to ordering the men version which are too wide at the legs !!! First time in my life I will ski in pants that fit me! I am wearing pants that fit!

Well made and fits comfortably throughout. I'm 5'1 and 100lbs, ordered 0S. I find Arc'teryx makes ski pants the shortest for petite people! If you plan to wear midlayer and thicker underlayer underneath the bib, consider size up. Otherwise it is true to size.
