Smartwool  Hike Classic Edition Second Cut Ankle Socks

Really cute, warm, good for every day wear. Not for big hikes, they’re a little rough and weren’t very comfortable while backpacking.

The socks are great! Super warm. I really enjoy this length for the ankle crew socks. These socks would be great for winter and in cold weather. My feet do tend to sweat, so i notice that socks that are more than 60% wool material tend to be the best for me, as they are breathable and also keep my feet warm. I will try out these socks once the weather drops more to see how they are in the colder weather. Overall they have been great so far!

These socks are outstanding! I purchased them to travel to Scotland and they exceeded my expectations for warmth, comfort and breathability. When it was cold in the morning, they were the correct choice (warmth). When the day became sunny and the temperature climbed they were soft and the material breathed. I will be buying more.

I have contributed tons of socks to the recycling program so it's amazing to finally see it coming full circle. They're soft and seem to be of great quality just like the other products. The only downside is that they run quite big.

I did not like the feel of the material. While the fit and look is similar to the normal socks, these second cut socks feel rough on the inside and the material appears to be sewn more loosely than the regular socks.

Purchased several pair for an upcoming hike on the Camino Santiago. Chose Smartwool as I have worn them for many years; they always perform extremely well providing exceptional comfort during long days on the trail.

Working twelve hour shifts in the hospital and coming out with comfortable and dry feet is rare, but it’s definitely more common since using these. Thick without feeling heavy and hot, and surprisingly soft.

I love these socks. I bought three pairs and will surely be back again :) I was nervous they were going to be really thin, but the thickness is perfect!

Socks are comfortable. Sock size and cushioning are good. The material is a little scratchier than my other Smartwool socks.
