Turtlebox Audio  Grande Speaker

At first i hooked up to speaker and cranked it up and wasn’t very impressed. Then i took it outside and cranked it up and WOW this speaker is like none I’ve heard before loud is an understatement! I had a ecoxgear Defender before this one and it blows it out of the water! This Turtlebox Grande is one of a kind theres not many places you even feel comfortable playing it at max volume because its that loud and to top it off its loud but also extremely clear at max volume! Would love to test two grandes out and post a video reviewing both of them! _x000D_ _x000D_ I havnt seen a video that even compares to how good this speaker preforms!

After receiving my Grande speaker and waiting on the weekend to really test it out, I first listened to some music at a very low volume and noticed the amount of base in it. As I sat around a fire, smoked a cigar and had a few cold beverages I then started turning up the volume. I then took the speaker 20 yards from where I had my chair and I proceeded to turn the volume up as loud as it would go and I was really blown away with the clarity and sound of the music. I love this speaker so much that I carry it to all the crawfish boils, fish cookout and gatherings of people so I know it will be the best sounding speaker there.

I have only messed around with it since getting it yesterday, but the sound quality and bass are very impressive. I bought this to use as a speaker for my kids sports and on the sandbar to save the P-Toons battery while we relax in the water. I have to say, this is a lot of sound in a relatively small package! It’s heavy, don’t get me wrong, but it’s because it’s built like a tank, it’s appears it’s going to take the abuse of travel baseball, soccer, football, and general youth disregard for nice things! I’m really excited I went for the Grande, a little more money, but I can tell it’s worth the extra decibels it delivers. Again, the bass hits hard for no larger than it looks!

I loved my turtle original i bought a second_x000D_ Inwas sonhappy with those i wound up bying the grande._x000D_ I recomened these to anyone looking for a rugged speaker that loves musis._x000D_ I i litterally use mine every day in the construction industry and at home after work._x000D_ I hope to purchase another grande soon._x000D_ Turtle box i cant say enough great things about your product and i rarley ever feel that way these days when buying tools or anything for that matter._x000D_ Right down to the way you ship and the box the speaker comes in._x000D_ Right on!! Keep up the good work!!!!

I’m on day 2 of using this and it is just exceptional. We are going to be using it for ministry outreach to the homeless, bringing them music, provisions, and presenting the message of Jesus (microphone use). The weatherproof build is just awesome for this too. I initially hesitated from price, but it is worth it. Depending on what the business owners have invested into n cost of each unit, it may be beneficial (both from corporate revenue and customer peace of mind perspectives) to offer extended warranty options. I hope it lasts a long time. I could not say one bad thing about it. Buy it up!

I would say that the Grande is loud when it working properly, however I have had issues with it. My first one had problems when it would slightly get wet. The sound would get muffled out until it got dry which could take hours. So I warrantied it and they sent me a new one. My second I only had for two weeks and I’m already having similar issues. I used it one full day this past weekend and no problems, however the next day it wasn’t producing its full sound its capable of with the volume all the way up! If I keep experiencing this I’m hoping Turtlebox can send me a Gen 3 instead of a Grande.

We purchased our 1st grande last year, initially to use when we are fishing on the river, on remote beach sites, working in the garden. I have a decent understanding of physio- and psychoacoustics so I understand that louder ≠ clearer. I looked at specs of a few top brands before choosing turtlebox. Durability needed to be a priority, but so did maximum power output sound quality/clarity. The grande performance has exceeded all expectations for sound quality and durability. We love it so much that we purchased a second grande last month so that we can explore stereo/party modes when we are out on really large sand bars. These things are absolutely second to none!! Highly recommend without a single reservation.

Turtle box grande is a great sound just like the original turtle box. I run two units as my stereo set up on my boat. Great Waterproof/dustproof stereo equipment phenomenal sound with extremely fast. Bluetooth connection. The biggest downside is they did not make the grande stereo speaker compatible with its little brother. And you have to dig into the product for it to say it’s not compatible. Period at the end of the day I gave the other two speakers to my daughter, so they will not be wasted . I believe they missed a huge market by not making them both compatible.

My brother-in-law has the smallest speaker, and I liked it. I needed something a little more substantial. We do a lot of outdoor activities and I wanted something that I wouldn't have to carry with me, and that could occasionally serve as a PA. Thats why I chose to get the grande. I expected it to be good, but I can't belive the sound quality. There is no distortion even when turned to maximum volume. The music is still crystal clear even from a decent distance. I am so pleased so far!

With anything there is room_x000D_ For improvement and the Grande is not exception to the rule. Luckily this is new and there is time_x000D_ To improve. It is mainly the sound quality at low volume. At loud volumes it’s pretty good. Fantastic in a lot of cases, but normal low volume levels leaves a lot to be desired. It’s more muffled and not bright enough. Not brassy, but not bright enough. _x000D_ Like With all of my turtlebox speakers, the build quality is exceptional.
